Hashemite University (HU for short) is a public higher education institution in Jordan, founded in 1995 and located near the city of Zarqa. As one of the well-known national universities in Jordan, it adopts a credit-based teaching system and is the first university in Jordan to apply the "Two-Summer-Semester" system. It offers undergraduate, master's and international admission programs covering multiple disciplines such as arts, sciences, engineering, and medicine, with its basic medicine program ranked 701st globally.
