河北艺术职业学院创办于1955年，是河北省唯一一所独立设置的以培养舞台表演艺术人才为主的公办高等艺术院校。历经河北省戏曲学校、河北省戏剧学校、河北省艺术学校等发展阶段，2001年经河北省政府批准升格为高职院校。学院是河北省非物质文化遗产传播基地、中国非遗传承人群研培计划参与院校，曾荣获全国文化工作先进集体、省级文明单位、省部级重点学校等荣誉，是河北省“双高校”建设单位、河北省艺术职业教育集团牵头组建单位。

Hebei Vocational Art College, founded in 1955, is the only public higher art institution in Hebei Province independently established to cultivate stage performance art talents. It has gone through development stages such as Hebei Opera School, Hebei Drama School, and Hebei Art School. In 2001, it was upgraded to a higher vocational college with the approval of the Hebei Provincial Government. The college is a base for the dissemination of intangible cultural heritage in Hebei Province and a participating institution in the National Inheritance人群 Training Program for Intangible Cultural Heritage. It has been awarded honors such as the National Advanced Collective in Cultural Work, Provincial Civilized Unit, and Provincial Key School. It is a "Double-High-Level" construction unit in Hebei Province and the leading unit in establishing the Hebei Art Vocational Education Group.

学院本校区位于石家庄市长安区青园街，东校区位于开发区漓江道，现有全日制在校生5000余人。设有戏剧、音乐、舞蹈、美术、艺术教育、影视、文化管理等专业系和多个教学部，其中音乐表演（声乐方向）为河北省省级示范专业，河北民间舞、声乐表演等多门课程为省级精品课程。舞蹈系建有河北省首个中央财政支持的国家级舞蹈实训基地，舞台艺术设计与制作专业被确立为全国校企共建生产性实训基地。

The college's main campus is located on Qingyuan Street, Chang'an District, Shijiazhuang City, and the East Campus is on Lijiang Road, Development Zone. It currently has more than 5,000 full-time students. It has professional departments such as Drama, Music, Dance, Fine Arts, Art Education, Film and Television, and Cultural Management, as well as multiple teaching departments. Among them, Music Performance (Vocal Music Direction) is a provincial demonstration major in Hebei Province, and many courses such as Hebei Folk Dance and Vocal Music Performance are provincial excellent courses. The Dance Department has built the first national-level dance training base supported by the central finance in Hebei Province, and the Stage Art Design and Production major has been established as a national production-oriented training base co-built by schools and enterprises.

全院现有正式在编教职工300余人，其中专任教师200余人，另常年聘有于魁智、李胜素等18位戏剧梅花奖获得者及31位艺术名家担任客座教授。办学以来培养了辛宝达、李胜素等25位中国戏剧梅花奖获得者，以及于文华等优秀艺术家，师生多次登上央视春晚舞台，在国家级专业赛事中屡获殊荣，被誉为“河北艺术人才的摇篮”。

The college currently has more than 300 formal faculty members, including more than 200 full-time teachers. In addition, it annually employs 18 winners of the Plum Blossom Award for Chinese Theatre such as Yu Kuizhi and Li Shengsu, and 31 renowned artists including Yu Wenhua as visiting professors. Since its establishment, it has cultivated 25 winners of the Plum Blossom Award for Chinese Theatre such as Xin Baoda and Li Shengsu, as well as outstanding artists like Yu Wenhua. Teachers and students have repeatedly appeared on the CCTV Spring Festival Gala stage and won numerous awards in national professional competitions, known as "the cradle of Hebei art talents".
