湖北国土资源职业学院是经湖北省人民政府批准、教育部备案的省属公办高等职业院校，始建于1978年，前身为湖北省地质学校，历经多次合并与更名，2004年升格为高等职业院校。学校坚持社会主义办学方向，落实立德树人根本任务，秉承“立足于专业、服务于师生、奉献于社会”的办学理念，以培养高素质技术技能人才为目标，致力于建设特色鲜明、行业领先的高水平高职院校。

Hubei Land Resources Vocational College is a public higher vocational college approved by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1978, its predecessor was Hubei Provincial Geological School. After several mergers and name changes, it was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2004. Adhering to the socialist orientation in running schools and the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education, the college upholds the educational philosophy of "rooted in majors, serving teachers and students, and contributing to society", aiming to cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents and strive to build a high-level vocational college with distinctive characteristics and leading position in the industry.

学校位于武汉经济技术开发区，区位优势显著，交通便利。现设有7个二级学院，34个高职专业，全日制在校生12000余人，形成了理、工、文、管、经、艺多学科协调发展的办学特色。拥有2个国家级现代学徒制试点专业、2个中央财政支持建设专业及多个省级重点特色专业，建有完善的实训基地和“双师型”师资队伍，近年来在产教融合、科技创新等领域成果丰硕。

The college is located in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, enjoying a superior geographical position and convenient transportation. It currently has 7 secondary colleges and 34 higher vocational majors, with over 12,000 full-time students, forming a school-running characteristic of coordinated development of multiple disciplines including science, engineering, liberal arts, management, economics, and art. It has 2 national-level modern apprenticeship pilot majors, 2 majors supported by central finance, and multiple provincial-level key and characteristic majors. The college has established a complete training base and a team of "double-qualified" teachers, and has achieved fruitful results in industry-education integration, scientific and technological innovation and other fields in recent years.
