湖北文理学院理工学院是经国家教育部批准，于2003年6月成立的一所面向全国招生的全日制普通本科独立学院。学校位于湖北省省域副中心城市、全国历史文化名城——襄阳市，2019年由襄阳市市属国有资本投资运营集团汉江国有资本投资集团作为唯一投资方参与建设，为学校发展提供了雄厚的资金和资源保障。

Hubei University of Arts and Sciences College of Science and Technology is a full-time ordinary undergraduate independent college approved by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, established in June 2003 and enrolling students nationwide. The university is located in Xiangyang, a national historical and cultural city and a sub-central city in Hubei Province. In 2019, Hanjiang State-owned Capital Investment Group, a municipal state-owned capital investment and operation group in Xiangyang, participated in the construction as the sole investor, providing strong financial and resource support for the university's development.

学校以“应用技术型大学”为定位，遵循“突出专业特色、强化实践环节”的办学思想，设有本、专科专业38个，致力于培养应用型、复合型高级专业技术与管理人才。校园内4万平方米的图书馆可藏书220万册，拥有完善的教学、实验、生活设施，并与中铁集团、东风汽车等企业签订订单式培养协议，注重学生实践能力培养。

It offers 38 undergraduate and specialized programs, dedicated to cultivating applied and interdisciplinary advanced professional and management talents. The 40,000-square-meter library on campus can hold 2.2 million books, with complete teaching, experimental, and living facilities. It has also signed order-based training agreements with enterprises such as China Railway Group and Dongfeng Motor, focusing on cultivating students' practical abilities.
