湖北中医药高等专科学校坐落于湖北省荆州市，是2002年3月经教育部批准成立的全国第一所中医药普通高等专科学校，其前身为创建于1952年的荆州卫生学校和1958年的湖北省中医药学校。学校实行国家中医药管理局、湖北省卫生健康委员会、荆州市人民政府三方共建的管理体制，以培养基层医药卫生与健康产业人才为核心使命。

Hubei College of Chinese Medicine is located in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province. Approved by the Ministry of Education in March 2002, it is the first ordinary higher vocational college of traditional Chinese medicine in China. Its predecessors are Jingzhou Health School founded in 1952 and Hubei Chinese Medicine School founded in 1958. The college is jointly managed by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hubei Provincial Health Commission, and Jingzhou Municipal People's Government, with the core mission of cultivating talents for grassroots medical and health services and the health industry.

学校占地735亩，建筑面积30余万平方米，拥有8所附属医院及58个专业实验室，仪器设备总值6000余万元。开设有中医学、针灸推拿、护理、临床医学等19个普通专科专业，面向全国30个省区市招生，现有全日制在校生近万人。作为湖北省乡村医生培训中心，学校同时承担全省基层医疗卫生人员培训任务，累计为社会输送医药卫生人才超10万名。

The college covers an area of 735 mu with a building area of over 300,000 square meters. It has 8 affiliated hospitals and 58 professional laboratories, with total value of instruments and equipment exceeding 60 million yuan. Offering 19 ordinary specialty programs including Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture and Tuina, Nursing, and Clinical Medicine, it enrolls students from 30 provinces and cities nationwide, with nearly 10,000 full-time students. As the Hubei Provincial Rural Doctor Training Center, the college also undertakes training tasks for grassroots medical and health personnel, having cultivated over 100,000 medical and health talents for society.
