河池学院是经教育部批准成立的全日制普通本科院校，坐落于广西河池市宜州区，是桂西北地区唯一一所普通本科院校。学校前身创建于1951年，历经河池师范专科学校、河池师范高等专科学校等发展阶段，2003年由河池师范高等专科学校与宜州民族师范学校合并组建为本科院校。学校现有龙江、金山湖两个校区，占地面积3600亩，设有14个二级学院，50个本科专业，涵盖经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、管理学、艺术学等九大学科门类，其中国家级特色专业1个，自治区一流本科专业建设点9个，广西重点学科2个。

Hechi University is a full-time ordinary undergraduate institution approved by the Ministry of Education, located in Yizhou District, Hechi City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is the only ordinary undergraduate university in the northwest of Guangxi. Founded in 1951, the university has undergone development stages such as Hechi Normal College and Hechi Teachers College. In 2003, it was merged with Yizhou Ethnic Normal School to form an undergraduate institution. The university now has two campuses, Longjiang and Jinshanhu, covering an area of 3,600 mu. It has 14 secondary colleges and 50 undergraduate majors, covering nine disciplines including economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, management, and art. There is 1 national-level characteristic major, 9 autonomous region-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites, and 2 key disciplines in Guangxi.

学校坚持“扎根河池、服务地方、面向基层”的办学定位，以培养应用型人才为目标，形成了鲜明的办学特色。现有教职工857人，其中高级职称教师224人，博士、硕士学位教师占比超过80%。拥有广西高校人文社会科学重点研究基地、广西重点实验室等10余个科研平台，近五年承担国家级科研项目15项，省部级项目84项，获省部级教学科研成果奖20余项。学校注重学生实践能力培养，在中国大学生艺术展演、数学建模竞赛等国家级赛事中获奖450余项，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在90%以上，为区域经济社会发展培养了大批高素质人才。

Adhering to the school-running orientation of "rooted in Hechi, serving the local area, and facing the grassroots", the university aims to cultivate applied talents and has formed distinct school-running characteristics. There are 857 faculty members, including 224 with senior professional titles, and more than 80% of teachers have doctoral or master's degrees. It has more than 10 scientific research platforms such as key research bases for humanities and social sciences in Guangxi universities and key laboratories in Guangxi. In the past five years, it has undertaken 15 national-level scientific research projects and 84 provincial and ministerial-level projects, and has won more than 20 provincial and ministerial-level teaching and scientific research achievement awards. The university focuses on cultivating students' practical abilities, having won more than 450 awards in national competitions such as the National College Student Art Exhibition and Mathematical Modeling Competition. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 90% for many years, cultivating a large number of high-quality talents for regional economic and social development.
