河北传媒学院是一所以传媒艺术为主，艺、文、工、管、教等多学科兼容的民办全日制普通高等学校，经教育部备案，学校代码为12784。学校始建于2000年，由翟志海先生创办，2007年升本，2011年获得专业硕士研究生招生资格，2013年开始与中国艺术研究院联合培养博士研究生。2021年，正式获批为硕士学位授予单位，戏剧与影视硕士、新闻与传播硕士增列为学位授权点。

Hebei Institute of Communications is a private full-time ordinary higher education institution focusing on media and art, integrating multiple disciplines such as art, literature, engineering, management, and education. It is registered with the Ministry of Education with the school code 12784. Founded in 2000 by Mr. Zhai Zhihai, the school was upgraded to a undergraduate institution in 2007. In 2011, it obtained the qualification for enrolling professional master's students, and in 2013, it began to jointly train doctoral students with the Chinese National Academy of Arts. In 2021, it was officially approved as a master's degree-granting unit, with master's degrees in Drama and Film & Television, and Journalism and Communication added as degree authorization points.

学校位于河北省石家庄市，现有兴安、警安和鹿泉三个校区，普通全日制在校生26000余人，设有51个本科专业、3个专业硕士研究生专业。广播电视编导、录音艺术、播音与主持艺术3个专业为国家级一流本科专业建设点，拥有媒介融合云实验教学示范中心、全媒体数字音乐实验教学示范中心等教学平台，以及4000平米文化创意产业园、1200平米演播厅等先进实践设施。

Located in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, the school has three campuses: Xing'an, Jing'an, and Luquan, with over 26,000 full-time students. It offers 51 undergraduate programs and 3 professional master's programs. Three majors—Radio and Television Directing, Recording Arts, and Broadcasting and Hosting Arts—are national first-class undergraduate program construction sites. The school has teaching platforms such as the Media Convergence Cloud Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center and the All-Media Digital Music Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, as well as advanced practical facilities including a 4,000-square-meter cultural and creative industrial park and a 1,200-square-meter studio.
