河北科技工程职业技术大学（Hebei Vocational University of Technology and Engineering），简称河北科工大，隶属于河北省人民政府，是一所以工科为主的全日制职业本科高校，是新时期国家设立的本科职教试点学校。学校坐落在河北省级历史文化名城、国家园林城市、京津冀城市群节点城市、冀中南先进制造业基地和物流枢纽——河北省邢台市，这里是五朝古都、元代科学家郭守敬的故乡，文化底蕴深厚，环境优美，交通便利，资讯发达。

Hebei Vocational University of Technology and Engineering, referred to as Hebei Tech-Engineering University, is affiliated to the People's Government of Hebei Province. It is a full-time vocational undergraduate university focusing on engineering and a pilot undergraduate vocational education institution established by the state in the new era. The university is located in Xingtai City, Hebei Province, a provincial-level historical and cultural city, a national garden city, a node city in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban agglomeration, an advanced manufacturing base in south-central Hebei, and a logistics hub. It is the hometown of Guo Shoujing, a scientist of the Yuan Dynasty, with profound cultural heritage, beautiful environment, convenient transportation and developed information.

学校的前身邢台农业机械学校始建于1979年，历经多次更名与发展，2021年教育部批准以邢台职业技术学院为办学主体，与华北电力大学科技学院合并转设为河北科技工程职业技术大学。学校坚持“技术立校，军风育人”的办学理念，创造了高等职业教育的“邢台模式”，形成了“军人作风+职业素养”的人才培养特色，是国家示范性高等职业院校、国家优质专科高等职业院校、中国特色高水平专业群（A档）建设单位。

The predecessor of the university, Xingtai Agricultural Machinery School, was founded in 1979. After several name changes and development, in 2021, the Ministry of Education approved the establishment of Hebei Vocational University of Technology and Engineering by merging Xingtai Polytechnic College (as the main办学 entity) with the Science and Technology College of North China Electric Power University. Adhering to the school-running philosophy of "Establishing the University with Technology, Cultivating People with Military Spirit", the university has created the "Xingtai Model" of higher vocational education and formed the talent training characteristic of "Military Style + Professional Quality". It is a national demonstration higher vocational college, a national high-quality junior college vocational college, and a construction unit of China's characteristic high-level professional group (Grade A).

目前，学校占地133万平方米，建筑面积63.5万平方米，教学仪器设备总值2.6亿元，藏书148万册；全日制在校生近20000名，其中本科在校生9500余名，并有来自阿尔及利亚、泰国等国的留学生；教职工1600余名，专任教师中双师型教师占比达77.4%。开设汽车工程技术、机械设计制造及自动化等30个本科专业和22个专科专业，其中国家级专业10个，中国特色高水平专业群（A档）1个，主持或参与多个国家级专业教学资源库，获评国家精品课程15门、职业教育国家在线精品课程14门。

At present, the university covers an area of 1.33 million square meters, with a building area of 635,000 square meters, teaching instruments and equipment worth 260 million yuan, and a collection of 1.48 million books. There are nearly 20,000 full-time students, including more than 9,500 undergraduate students and international students from Algeria, Thailand and other countries. There are more than 1,600 faculty members, and 77.4% of the full-time teachers are "double-qualified" teachers. The university offers 30 undergraduate majors such as Automotive Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation, and 22 junior college majors, including 10 national-level majors and 1 China's characteristic high-level professional group (Grade A). It has hosted or participated in multiple national professional teaching resource databases, and has been awarded 15 national excellent courses and 14 national online excellent courses in vocational education.
