河北化工医药职业技术学院始建于1909年，前身是在河北保定创办的直隶补习学堂，1949年迁至石家庄，2002年5月升格为高等职业技术学院。学校是国家示范性骨干高职院校、国家优质高职院校、国家“双高计划”高水平专业群建设单位，以化工、医药为特色，面向全国培养高素质技术技能人才。

Hebei Chemical & Pharmaceutical College was founded in 1909, originally known as Zhili Supplementary School established in Baoding, Hebei. It moved to Shijiazhuang in 1949 and was upgraded to a higher vocational college in May 2002. As a national model backbone vocational college, national high-quality vocational college, and a construction unit of the national "Double High Plan" high-level professional group, the college focuses on chemical engineering and pharmaceuticals, cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents for the whole country.

学校现有在校生近1.7万人，馆藏图书130余万册，设有8个教学系和3个教学部，开设43个专业，涵盖化工、医药、生物、机电等多个领域。拥有国家级职业技能鉴定所、中央财政支持实训基地及300余家校外合作实训基地，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在97%以上。

The college currently has nearly 17,000 students and a collection of over 1.3 million books. It consists of 8 teaching departments and 3 teaching divisions, offering 43 majors covering chemical engineering, pharmaceuticals, biology, electromechanics, and other fields. Equipped with a national vocational skill appraisal institute, central finance-supported training bases, and over 300 off-campus cooperative training bases, the college has maintained a graduate employment rate of over 97% for many consecutive years.

秉承“学以进德，工以养技”的办学理念，学校深化产教融合、校企合作，与石药控股、华北制药等200余家企业建立稳定合作关系，形成了鲜明的职业教育特色，为区域经济社会发展输送了大批技术人才。
