河北工业大学是一所以工为主、多学科协调发展的国家“双一流”建设高校，隶属于河北省，坐落于天津市。学校始建于1903年，前身为北洋工艺学堂，是中国最早的工科院校之一，开创了中国近代高等工程教育的先河。历经百余年发展，学校已形成以工为主，工、理、经、管、文、法、艺等多学科协调发展的学科专业体系，在材料科学、电气工程、机械工程等领域具有显著优势。

Hebei University of Technology is a national "Double First-Class" construction university with engineering as its main focus and coordinated development of multiple disciplines. Affiliated to Hebei Province, it is located in Tianjin City. Founded in 1903 as the Beiyang School of Technology, it is one of the earliest engineering colleges in China and pioneered modern higher engineering education in the country. After more than a century of development, the university has formed a disciplinary system with engineering as the mainstay, coordinated by science, economics, management, literature, law, art and other disciplines, with remarkable advantages in fields such as materials science, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering.
