河北政法职业学院（河北政法管理干部学院）为河北省委直属公益二类事业单位，机构规格为正厅级，由省委政法委管理。学院与共和国同龄，是河北省法学教育的发源地，为河北省民主法治建设和经济社会发展作出了重要贡献。学院前身是1949年7月成立的河北省建设学院，首任院长由河北省人民政府主席杨秀峰同志兼任。1954年4月改建为河北省政法干部学校，1983年11月改建为河北政法管理干部学院，2001年4月改建为全国首家法律高职院校——河北政法职业学院，2004年4月河北林业学校整建制并入。

Hebei Vocational College of Political Science and Law (Hebei Administrative Cadre College of Political Science and Law) is a public welfare second-class institution directly under the Hebei Provincial Party Committee, with a department-level specification, managed by the Political and Legal Committee of the Provincial Party Committee. Founded in the same year as the People's Republic of China, the college is the birthplace of legal education in Hebei Province and has made important contributions to the construction of democratic legal system and economic and social development in Hebei Province. Its predecessor is Hebei Construction College established in July 1949, whose first president was concurrently held by Comrade Yang Xiufeng, Chairman of Hebei Provincial People's Government. It was restructured into Hebei Political and Legal Cadre School in April 1954, Hebei Administrative Cadre College of Political Science and Law in November 1983, the first legal higher vocational college in China - Hebei Vocational College of Political Science and Law in April 2001, and merged with Hebei Forestry School as a whole in April 2004.

学院位于石家庄市新华区，占地面积1306.5亩，现有四个校区，校本部位于友谊北大街569号。学院坚持“立足政法、服务河北、面向全国”的办学定位，以“良法善治，尚法高行”为校训，厚植“尚法、精业、博知、笃行”的校风。现设有12个教学机构，开设86个专业，覆盖法律、公安、财经、电子信息等12个专业大类，全日制在校生13000余人。学院师资力量雄厚，高级专业技术职称教师占专任教师的39.67%，双师型教师占85.99%，建有93个校内实验实训室和124个校外实训基地，多次被评为“河北省成人高等学校评估优秀学校”“教育教学质量A级院校”，2010年被确定为河北省重点建设的示范性高职院校。

The college is located in Xinhua District, Shijiazhuang City, covering an area of 1306.5 mu, with four campuses, and the headquarters is located at No. 569, Youyi North Street. Adhering to the school-running orientation of "based on politics and law, serving Hebei, and facing the whole country", the college takes "Good Law and Good Governance, Respecting Law and Practicing Nobly" as its school motto, and fosters the school spirit of "Respecting Law, Being Professional, Knowledgeable and Practicing Earnestly". It now has 12 teaching institutions, offering 86 majors covering 12 professional categories such as law, public security, finance and economics, electronic information, with more than 13,000 full-time students. The college has a strong teaching staff, with 39.67% of full-time teachers having senior professional and technical titles and 85.99% being double-qualified teachers. It has 93 on-campus experimental training rooms and 124 off-campus training bases. It has been repeatedly rated as "Excellent School in Hebei Adult Higher Education Evaluation" and "Education and Teaching Quality Class A College", and was identified as a key construction demonstration higher vocational college in Hebei Province in 2010.
