河南农业大学源自1902年创办的河南大学堂农科，是河南省重点建设高校，以农业科学为优势，生命科学为特色，多学科协调发展的综合性农业大学。学校拥有国家级重点学科、国家级一流本科专业建设点，在作物学、兽医学、农业工程等领域形成鲜明优势，为国家和地方培养了大批高素质农业人才。

Henan Agricultural University originated from the Agricultural Department of Henan University founded in 1902. It is a key construction university in Henan Province, characterized by agricultural science, featuring life sciences, and developing multi-disciplines in a coordinated manner. The university has national key disciplines and national first-class undergraduate major construction sites, forming distinct advantages in crop science, veterinary medicine, agricultural engineering and other fields, and has cultivated a large number of high-quality agricultural talents for the country and local areas.

学校现有郑州文化路、龙子湖和许昌三个校区，占地面积3800余亩，设有21个学院，76个本科专业，拥有全日制在校生3万余人。学校注重产学研结合，建有多个国家级科研平台和省级重点实验室，积极推动农业科技创新与成果转化，在粮食安全、生态保护、乡村振兴等领域贡献重要力量。

The university currently has three campuses: Zhengzhou Wenhua Road, Longzihu and Xuchang, covering an area of more than 3,800 mu. It has 21 colleges, 76 undergraduate majors, and more than 30,000 full-time students. Focusing on the integration of industry, education and research, the university has built a number of national-level scientific research platforms and provincial key laboratories, actively promoting agricultural science and technology innovation and achievement transformation, and contributing important strength in the fields of food security, ecological protection, and rural revitalization.
