合肥城市学院是经教育部批准、拥有学士学位授予权的普通本科高校，位于安徽省省会合肥市。前身是2003年6月设立的安徽建筑大学城市建设学院；2020年12月，转设为独立设置的省属全日制普通本科高校，更名为合肥城市学院。学校以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，坚持社会主义办学方向，贯彻落实党的教育方针，践行为党育人、为国育才责任使命，坚守立德树人，办人民满意教育的办学宗旨，秉持明德、爱国、善进、匠心的校训精神。

Hefei City University is an ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education with the right to grant bachelor's degrees, located in Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province. Its predecessor was the Urban Construction College of Anhui Jianzhu University established in June 2003; in December 2020, it was transformed into an independent provincial full-time ordinary undergraduate university and renamed Hefei City University. Guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the university adheres to the socialist orientation in running schools, implements the Party's educational policy, fulfills the mission of cultivating talents for the Party and the country, adheres to the办学宗旨 of establishing morality and cultivating people and running education satisfying the people, and upholds the school motto spirit of "Virtue, Patriotism, Progress and Craftsmanship".

学校规划占地面积近1000亩，已建成校舍建筑面积约25万平方米，现有滨湖和北城两个校区，分别坐落于美丽巢湖之滨的合肥市黄麓科教园区和滁河干渠之畔的合肥北城岗集镇，校园环境优美，文化氛围浓郁，荣获合肥市文明单位荣誉称号。现有全日制本科在校生12000余人，专任教师550余人，其中副高以上职称教师占35%以上，拥有全国优秀教师及省级教学名师5人，省部级教学团队6个。

The university plans to cover an area of nearly 1,000 mu, with a completed school building area of about 250,000 square meters. It currently has two campuses, Binhu and Beicheng, located in Hefei Huanglu Science and Education Park by the beautiful Chaohu Lake and Hefei Beicheng Gangji Town by the Chuhe Main Canal respectively. The campus has a beautiful environment and a strong cultural atmosphere, and has been awarded the honorary title of Hefei Civilized Unit. There are more than 12,000 full-time undergraduate students and more than 550 full-time teachers, among whom over 35% have senior professional titles or above. It has 5 national excellent teachers and provincial teaching masters, and 6 provincial-level teaching teams.

学校设有土木工程学院、建筑与艺术学院、机械与电气工程学院、经济与管理学院、马克思主义学院和基础教学部6个教学院部，开设35个本科专业，基本形成了以工为主，工、管、艺等学科协调发展的学科专业体系。近年来，获批省级一流本科专业建设点4个，省级一流课程26门，获得省级教学成果奖5项，学生在省级以上学科竞赛中获奖1000余项。

The university has 6 teaching colleges and departments, including the School of Civil Engineering, the School of Architecture and Art, the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Marxism, and the Department of Basic Teaching, offering 35 undergraduate majors. It has basically formed a discipline and professional system with engineering as the main focus and coordinated development of engineering, management, art and other disciplines. In recent years, it has been approved 4 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, 26 provincial first-class courses, 5 provincial teaching achievement awards, and students have won more than 1,000 awards in provincial and above discipline competitions.
