合肥师范学院坐落于安徽省省会合肥市，前身是创建于1955年的安徽教育学院，2007年改建为省属全日制普通本科院校。学校是全国首批“服务国家特殊需求专业学位研究生”培养试点单位、全国首批“国培计划”示范性培训项目实施单位、全国首批“卓越教师培养计划”试点单位，安徽省首批“地方应用型高水平大学”建设高校。

Hefei Normal University is located in Hefei, the capital city of Anhui Province. Its predecessor was Anhui Institute of Education founded in 1955, and it was restructured into a provincial full-time ordinary undergraduate college in 2007. The university is one of the first national pilot units for cultivating postgraduates with professional degrees serving national special needs, one of the first national demonstration training project implementation units for the "National Training Program", one of the first pilot units for the "Excellent Teacher Training Program", and a first batch of "local application-oriented high-level university" construction colleges in Anhui Province.

学校现有锦绣、滨湖、三孝口三个校区，校园面积1295亩；教学科研仪器设备总值2.35亿元，纸质图书124.3万册。截至2023年8月，设有14个二级学院，59个本科专业，11个教育硕士专业学位研究生培养方向；在职教工1200余人，其中正高116人、副高368人，拥有国家级教学成果奖二等奖5项，省级教学成果奖54项。

The university has three campuses: Jinxiu, Binhu and Sanxiaokou, covering an area of 1295 mu. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 235 million yuan, and there are 1.243 million paper books. As of August 2023, it has 14 secondary colleges, 59 undergraduate majors, and 11 postgraduate training directions for master's degrees in education. There are more than 1,200 in-service faculty members, including 116 professors and 368 associate professors. It has won 5 second prizes of national teaching achievement awards and 54 provincial teaching achievement awards.

学校以“乐教、垂范、求真、拓新”为校训，重点建设教师教育类、电子信息类、生物医药类学科专业群，与合肥综合性国家科学中心等单位共建多个科研平台和产业学院，着力培养应用型、复合型人才。

With the school motto of "Loving Teaching, Setting an Example, Seeking Truth, and Pioneering Innovation", the university focuses on building discipline professional groups of teacher education, electronic information, and biomedicine. It has jointly built multiple scientific research platforms and industrial colleges with units such as Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center, striving to cultivate applied and compound talents.
