哈尔滨剑桥学院是经教育部批准设立的全日制普通本科高校，坐落于美丽的冰城哈尔滨，其前身为黑龙江剑桥专修学院，2001~2003年先后与哈尔滨理工大学、黑龙江大学合作设置为独立学院，2004年开办本科专业。2011年4月，经教育部批准转设为普通本科高等学校，更名为哈尔滨剑桥学院。学校由北大人创办并管理，秉承以学生发展为中心的教育理念，坚持“志藏天地，学贯中西”的校训，践行“开放、创新、奋斗、活力”的核心价值观，致力于建设特色鲜明的高水平应用型大学。

Harbin Cambridge University is a full-time ordinary undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education, located in the beautiful ice city of Harbin. Its predecessor was Heilongjiang Cambridge College. From 2001 to 2003, it successively cooperated with Harbin University of Science and Technology and Heilongjiang University to establish an independent college, and started undergraduate programs in 2004. In April 2011, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be transformed into an ordinary undergraduate institution of higher learning and renamed Harbin Cambridge University. Founded and managed by Peking University alumni, the university adheres to the educational philosophy of "student-centered development", upholds the school motto of "Ambition Covers the World, Knowledge Spans China and the West", practices the core values of "Openness, Innovation, Struggle, Vitality", and is committed to building a distinctive high-level application-oriented university.

学校占地面积72.29万平方米，建筑面积44.78万平方米；全校建有各类实验室（中心）181个，总使用面积17544.72平方米；图书馆馆藏纸质图书138.76万册，电子图书175.09万册，电子期刊60.52万册，电子学位论文781.95万册，音视频12.68万小时；建有国家级校企协同就业创业创新示范实践基地、IEM产教融合中心等校内综合实训基地，共建校外实习、实训基地255个。学校下设7个二级学院、1个教学部，设有29个本科专业，涵盖工学、教育学、管理学、艺术学、经济学、文学6大学科门类，形成了以工学为主体、教育学为特色，管、经、艺、文等多学科协调发展的专业布局。

The university covers an area of 722,900 square meters with a building area of 447,800 square meters; there are 181 various laboratories (centers) with a total usable area of 17,544.72 square meters; the library has a collection of 1.3876 million paper books, 1.7509 million e-books, 605,200 e-journals, 7.8195 million electronic dissertations, and 126,800 hours of audio and video materials. It has built national-level university-enterprise collaborative employment and entrepreneurship innovation demonstration practice bases, IEM industry-education integration centers and other on-campus comprehensive training bases, and co-built 255 off-campus internship and training bases. The university has 7 secondary colleges and 1 teaching department, offering 29 undergraduate majors covering 6 disciplines including engineering, education, management, art, economics, and literature, forming a professional layout with engineering as the main body, education as the feature, and coordinated development of management, economics, art, literature and other disciplines.

学校现有4个黑龙江省一流本科专业建设点，1个黑龙江省重点建设学科；学前教育专业、小学教育专业和英语专业通过教育部普通高等学校师范类专业二级认证；会计学学士学位课程通过澳洲会计师公会（CPA）认证，成为中国华北东北地区唯一通过该认证的民办高校。学校面向国家和区域产业需求，组建了智能制造、汽车产业、信息技术、教师教育、现代服务、创意设计6个专业集群。近年来，学校毕业生用人单位满意度平均为95%以上，毕业生平均薪酬超过5500元。建校以来，学校已向社会输送了各类人才3万余名，培养了以韩国培材大学博士研究生谢兵，自主创业、反哺母校的优秀毕业生张永生、沈妍，教育部大学生创业导师陈奇，全省岗位学雷锋标兵关静雯等为代表的学有所用和干有所成的一批优秀人才。

The university currently has 4 first-class undergraduate major construction sites in Heilongjiang Province and 1 key construction discipline in Heilongjiang Province; the preschool education, primary school education and English majors have passed the second-level certification of normal majors in ordinary colleges and universities of the Ministry of Education; the accounting bachelor's degree program has passed the certification of CPA Australia, becoming the only private university in North China and Northeast China that has passed this certification. Facing the needs of national and regional industries, the university has established 6 professional clusters: intelligent manufacturing, automobile industry, information technology, teacher education, modern service, and creative design. In recent years, the average satisfaction rate of employers for graduates has been over 95%, and the average salary of graduates has exceeded 5,500 yuan. Since its establishment, the university has delivered more than 30,000 various talents to the society, cultivating a group of outstanding talents who have achieved success in their studies and careers, represented by Xie Bing, a doctoral student at Pai Chai University in South Korea, outstanding graduates Zhang Yongsheng and Shen Yan who started their own businesses and repaid their alma mater, Chen Qi, a national college student entrepreneurship mentor of the Ministry of Education, and Guan Jingwen, a model of learning from Lei Feng in Heilongjiang Province.
