黄河交通学院是经国家教育部批准成立的民办全日制普通本科高校，坐落于河南省焦作市武陟县，前身为郑州交通职业学院，2014年升格为本科院校并更名。学校秉承“修德、启智、博学、笃行”的校训，以交通运输工程为龙头学科，汽车服务工程、机械设计制造及其自动化等为特色专业，形成工、管、文、理、经、法多学科协调发展的格局，面向现代综合交通运输、汽车制造等行业培养应用型人才。

Huanghe Jiaotong University is a private full-time ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education of China, located in Wuzhi County, Jiaozuo City, Henan Province. Formerly known as Zhengzhou Vocational College of Transportation, it was upgraded to an undergraduate institution and renamed in 2014. Adhering to the school motto of "Cultivating Morality, Inspiring Wisdom, Erudition, and Persistence", the university takes transportation engineering as its leading discipline, with automotive service engineering, mechanical design, manufacturing and automation as its characteristic majors, forming a coordinated development pattern of multiple disciplines including engineering, management, liberal arts, science, economics, and law, and cultivates applied talents for modern comprehensive transportation, automobile manufacturing and other industries.

学校现有三个校区，总占地面积2200余亩，建筑面积77万余平方米，教科研仪器设备总值1.76亿元，图书馆纸质藏书183万余册。设有汽车工程学院、交通工程学院等10余个教学单位，开设61个本专科专业，其中国家级一流本科专业建设点3个，河南省重点学科3个。拥有省级工程技术研究中心4个，市级工程技术研究中心14个，与华为、宇通客车等企业共建多个产业学院，构建了产教融合、协同育人的培养模式。

The university currently has three campuses, covering a total area of more than 2,200 mu, with a building area of over 770,000 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 176 million yuan, and the library has more than 1.83 million paper books. It has more than 10 teaching units such as the School of Automotive Engineering and the School of Traffic Engineering, offering 61 undergraduate and junior college majors, including 3 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites and 3 key disciplines in Henan Province. It has 4 provincial-level engineering technology research centers and 14 municipal-level engineering technology research centers, and has jointly established multiple industrial colleges with enterprises such as Huawei and Yutong Bus, building a talent training model of industry-education integration and collaborative education.

学校注重实践教学与科研创新，建有217个校内实验实训场所和96个校外实习基地，其中国家智能清洁能源汽车质量检验检测中心为河南省唯一。近年来，学校荣获河南省文明学校、河南省高等学校基层党组织建设先进单位等百余项荣誉，面向全国招生，在校生2万余人，毕业生就业率稳居河南省民办高校前列，为区域经济社会发展输送了大量高素质应用型人才。

The university focuses on practical teaching and scientific research innovation, with 217 on-campus experimental training sites and 96 off-campus internship bases, among which the National Intelligent Clean Energy Vehicle Quality Inspection and Testing Center is the only one in Henan Province. In recent years, the university has won more than 100 honors such as Henan Civilized School and Advanced Unit for Grassroots Party Organization Construction in Henan Colleges and Universities. It enrolls students nationwide, with more than 20,000 students, and the employment rate of graduates has remained at the forefront of private universities in Henan Province, transporting a large number of high-quality applied talents for regional economic and social development.
