湖南财经工业职业技术学院是省教育厅主管、衡阳市人民政府主办的全日制普通高等院校，始创于1958年，2004年升格为高等职业院校。学院坐落于历史文化名城衡阳，占地1026亩，为省级园林式单位，现有在校学生14000余人。作为教育部人才培养工作水平评估优秀学校、国家会计双师培训基地、湖南省卓越高职院校及“双高计划”建设单位，学院以“厚德强技、弘毅笃行”为校训，构建了“四链协同·四维一体·四真贯通”的业财融合人才培养模式，是湖南财经管理与工业技术技能人才培养的重要基地。

Hunan Financial & Industrial Vocational-technical College is a full-time public higher education institution sponsored by the Hengyang Municipal People's Government and supervised by the Hunan Provincial Department of Education. Founded in 1958, it was upgraded to a higher vocational college in 2004. Located in Hengyang, a famous historical and cultural city, the college covers an area of 1,026 mu and is a provincial garden-style unit with over 14,000 students. As an Excellent School in the Ministry of Education's talent training evaluation, a National Accounting Double-Qualified Teacher Training Base, a Hunan Provincial Excellent Higher Vocational College, and a "Double High Plan" construction unit, it adheres to the motto "Virtue and Skill, Perseverance and Practice" and has developed a "Four-Chain Collaboration, Four-Dimensional Integration, Four-Truth Penetration" talent cultivation model for industry-finance integration, serving as a key base for cultivating financial management and industrial technical talents in Hunan.

学院设有会计学院、智能制造学院等7个二级学院，开设26个专业，其中国家级骨干专业3个（大数据与会计、模具设计与制造、市场营销），中央财政支持专业3个，省级一流特色专业群3个。师资力量雄厚，拥有享受国务院特殊津贴专家1人、省级教学名师3人，双师素质教师占比85.3%。近五年获国家级技能竞赛一等奖10项，会计专业连续10年蝉联湖南省技能竞赛团体一等奖，毕业生去向落实率稳居全省高职院校前列，是湖南省示范性（骨干）高职院及楚怡工匠计划试点高校。

The college has 7 secondary colleges including the School of Accounting and the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, offering 26 majors. Among them, there are 3 national-level key majors (Big Data and Accounting, Mold Design and Manufacturing, Marketing), 3 majors supported by central finance, and 3 provincial first-class characteristic professional groups. It boasts a strong faculty with 1 expert enjoying special government allowances from the State Council, 3 provincial-level teaching masters, and 85.3% of "double-qualified" teachers. In the past five years, it has won 10 national first prizes in skill competitions, with the accounting major winning the Hunan Provincial Skill Competition group first prize for 10 consecutive years. The employment rate of graduates remains among the top in Hunan's vocational colleges, and it is a Hunan Provincial Demonstrative (Backbone) Higher Vocational College and a pilot university for the Chuyi Craftsman Program.
