湖南都市职业学院是经湖南省人民政府批准成立、教育部备案的全日制普通高等学校，目前在校师生一万七千余人，现有占地面积1600余亩（含新校区），建筑面积46万余平方米。学校坐落在省会长沙四区两园核心地带（即国家级长沙经济开发区、长沙临空经济示范区、湖南自由贸易区、长沙黄花综合保税区、湖南印刷工业园、黄花国际空港工业园），毗邻长沙黄花国际机场，周边产业发达、交通便利，为学生实习就业提供了得天独厚的条件。

Hunan Urban Vocational College is a full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education. Currently, there are over 17,000 teachers and students, with a total area of more than 1,600 mu (including the new campus) and a building area of over 460,000 square meters. The school is located in the core area of Changsha's four districts and two parks (namely, the national Changsha Economic Development Zone, Changsha Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, Hunan Free Trade Zone, Changsha Huanghua Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Hunan Printing Industrial Park, and Huanghua International Airport Industrial Park), adjacent to Changsha Huanghua International Airport. The surrounding industries are developed and transportation is convenient, providing unique conditions for students' internships and employment.

学校设有汽车与机电工程学院、信息科学工程学院、师范教育学院、医卫学院、建筑工程学院、包装与艺术学院、航空与城轨管理学院、商学院等8院2部，开设40余个专业，形成了以航空服务、建筑工程、印刷包装等为特色的专业体系。拥有42个校内实训场所及105个校外实训基地，积极创新“校企合作+工学结合+订单培养”人才培养模式，近年来毕业生初次就业落实率均保持较高水平，是莘莘学子理想的求学之地。

The college has 8 schools and 2 departments, including the School of Automotive and Mechanical Engineering, School of Information Science and Engineering, School of Normal Education, School of Medicine and Health, School of Civil Engineering, School of Packaging and Art, School of Aviation and Urban Rail Management, and School of Business, offering more than 40 majors, forming a professional system featuring aviation services, civil engineering, printing and packaging, etc. It has 42 on-campus training sites and 105 off-campus internship bases, and actively innovates the talent training model of "school-enterprise cooperation + work-study integration + order-based training". In recent years, the initial employment rate of graduates has remained at a high level, making it an ideal place for students to study.
