湖南司法警官职业学院（简称：湘警职院）是2003年经湖南省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案、由湖南省司法厅主办主管的全省唯一一所政法类警察体制的高等职业院校。学院创建于1981年，经历了湖南省劳改劳教中等干部专业学校、湖南省司法警官学校等发展时期，在40余年的办学历程中形成了以校训“厚德重法，崇文尚武”为核心的警院精神，凝练出“忠诚果敢、奉法自强”的校风，“博学善导、育警树人”的教风和“勤学苦练、文武兼修”的学风，警务化管理贯穿教学育人全过程。

Hunan Judicial Police Vocational College (referred to as Xiangjing Vocational College) is the only higher vocational college with a政法 police system in Hunan Province, approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government, registered by the Ministry of Education, and sponsored and administered by the Hunan Provincial Department of Justice in 2003. Founded in 1981, the college has gone through the development periods of Hunan Provincial Correctional Cadre School and Hunan Judicial Police School. During more than 40 years of school-running, it has formed the police college spirit centered on the school motto "Virtue and Law,崇文尚武", and condensed the school spirit of "Loyalty, Courage, Law-abiding and Self-improvement", the teaching style of "Erudition, Good Guidance, Cultivating Police and Educating People", and the learning style of "Diligent Study, Hard Training, Both Civil and Military". Police-style management runs through the whole process of teaching and educating people.

学院位于长沙市芙蓉区远大二路1069号，校园环境优美、教学设施完备，目前学历教育在校生规模6000人，在职教育培训每年8000人次。学院建有刑事执行省级楚怡高水平高职专业群1个，司法应用、司法技术省级一流特色专业群2个，开设刑事执行、刑事侦查技术、司法警务等15个专业，形成了“校局联盟、校狱（所）合作”的集团化办学模式和“教、学、练、战”一体化教学特色，近年来行业用人单位对毕业生满意度达96.8%，每年有800名以上毕业生到政法系统单位就业。

The college is located at No. 1069 Yuanda Second Road, Furong District, Changsha City, with a beautiful campus environment and complete teaching facilities. At present, the scale of full-time students is 6,000, and the annual on-the-job education and training is 8,000 person-times. The college has 1 provincial Chuyi high-level vocational professional group of criminal execution, 2 provincial first-class characteristic professional groups of judicial application and judicial technology, and offers 15 majors such as criminal execution, criminal investigation technology, and judicial police affairs. It has formed a group-based school-running model of "school-bureau alliance, school-prison (institution) cooperation" and an integrated teaching characteristic of "teaching, learning, practicing and fighting". In recent years, the satisfaction rate of industry employers with graduates has reached 96.8%, and more than 800 graduates are employed in political and legal system units every year.
