衡水学院坐落在河北省衡水市，是一所全日制普通本科院校，其前身为始建于1923年的直隶第六师范学校，2004年升格为本科院校并更为现名。学校始终坚持“立足衡水、服务河北、面向全国”的办学定位，以培养应用型、复合型人才为目标，形成了以师范教育为特色，多学科协调发展的学科专业体系。

Hengshui University is located in Hengshui City, Hebei Province. It is a full-time ordinary undergraduate college, formerly known as Zhili Sixth Normal School founded in 1923. It was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed its current name in 2004. 学校现有15个二级学院，54个本科专业，涵盖文、理、工、教、经、管、艺等多个学科领域。校园占地764亩，建筑面积36万平方米，教学科研仪器设备总值1.7亿元，图书馆纸质藏书132万册，电子图书438万册，为师生提供了良好的教学、科研和学习环境。

The university currently has 15 secondary colleges and 54 undergraduate majors, covering multiple disciplinary fields such as arts, science, engineering, education, economics, management, and art. The campus covers an area of 764 mu, with a building area of 360,000 square meters. The total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 170 million yuan. The library has 1.32 million paper books and 4.38 million e-books, providing a good teaching, research and learning environment for teachers and students.

近年来，学校大力推进教育教学改革，注重实践教学和创新创业教育，先后荣获“全国创新创业典型经验高校”“河北省文明校园”等荣誉称号。同时，积极开展对外交流与合作，与国内外多所高校建立了友好合作关系，不断提升办学水平和人才培养质量。
