华中农业大学是国家“双一流”建设高校，地处湖北省武汉市，前身是1898年创办的湖北农务学堂，历经百余年发展，已成为一所以农业与生命科学为优势特色，农、理、工、文、法、经、管相结合的综合性大学。学校坚持立德树人根本任务，围绕农业现代化和生态文明建设，培养了大批高素质人才，在动植物育种、绿色农业、食品安全等领域取得了一系列重大科研成果，为国家农业科技进步和乡村振兴作出了重要贡献。

Huazhong Agricultural University is a national "Double First-Class" construction university located in Wuhan, Hubei Province. Its predecessor was Hubei Agricultural School founded in 1898. 学校拥有国家级重点学科10个，省部级重点学科24个，设有17个学院（部），76个本科专业，全日制在校学生2万余人。校园占地7500亩，环境优美，师资力量雄厚，现有教职工3000余人，其中院士11人，国家级人才100余人。学校注重国际交流与合作，与全球100多所高校建立了合作关系，积极推动教育国际化和科研全球化。

The university has 10 national key disciplines, 24 provincial and ministerial key disciplines, 17 colleges (departments), 76 undergraduate majors, and more than 20,000 full-time students. The campus covers an area of 7,500 mu with a beautiful environment and strong faculty. There are more than 3,000 faculty members, including 11 academicians and more than 100 national-level talents.
