衡阳科技职业学院是经湖南省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案设立、湖南省教育厅主管的全日制普通高等院校。学校位于国家中部地区重点工业城市、中国制造2025试点示范城市、湖湘文化重要发源地——衡阳市的中心城区，比邻湘江支流蒸水河畔，是一所极具现代化、信息化和科技特色的高等院校。

Hengyang Vocational College of Science and Technology is a full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Hunan Province, registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and administered by the Education Department of Hunan Province. Located in the central urban area of Hengyang, a key industrial city in central China, a pilot demonstration city for "Made in China 2025", and an important birthplace of Huxiang culture, adjacent to the Zhengshui River, a tributary of the Xiangjiang River, the college is a highly modern, information-based and technology-characterized institution of higher learning.

学校校园规划占地面积800余亩，建筑面积近20万平方米，校园精巧别致，绿树成荫，书香四溢，是求学成才的理想之地；学校现有教师416人，其中教授、副教授等高级职称教师167人，具有硕士以上学位教师234人，教师专业水平高，教学能力强，关心关爱每一个学生成长成才。新时代积极响应国家科技兴国战略，依托集团化办学强大的师资力量、二十多年高等教育管理经验和一流的实训设备条件，开设了具有科技特色的智慧医疗——护理类、信息类——大数据技术、物联网应用技术、智慧农林类——农产品流通与管理等专业。

The campus covers a planned area of over 800 mu (about 53.33 hectares) with a construction area of nearly 200,000 square meters. The campus is exquisitely designed, shaded by green trees, and filled with a strong academic atmosphere, making it an ideal place for studying and personal development. The college has 416 teachers, including 167 with senior titles such as professors and associate professors, and 234 with master's degrees or above. The teachers have high professional standards, strong teaching abilities, and care about the growth and success of each student. In response to the national strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and technology in the new era, relying on the strong faculty of group-run education, more than 20 years of experience in higher education management, and first-class training equipment, the college offers technology-characterized majors such as smart medical care (nursing), information technology (big data technology), internet of things application technology, and smart agriculture and forestry (agricultural product circulation and management).
