菏泽家政职业学院创建于2007年，前身是成立于1958年的山东省菏泽卫生学校，至今已有60余年的办学历史。学校占地315余亩，建筑面积12余万平方米，实验（实训）室100余个，实验仪器设备2000余台（套）。教职工607人，其中教授、副教授138人，硕士研究生以上学历252人，双师型教师320人。全日制在校生近16000余人，面向全国20个省（自治区）招生。

Heze Vocational College of Home Economics was founded in 2007, with its predecessor being Shandong Heze Health School established in 1958, boasting a history of over 60 years in running schools. The school covers an area of more than 315 mu, with a building area of over 120,000 square meters, more than 100 laboratories (training rooms), and more than 2,000 sets of experimental instruments and equipment. There are 607 faculty members, including 138 professors and associate professors, 252 with master's degree or above, and 320 double-qualified teachers. There are nearly 16,000 full-time students, recruiting students from 20 provinces (autonomous regions) across the country.

学院是教育部1+X老年照护、母婴护理、失智老年人照护、婴幼儿照护职业技能等级证书试点单位，开设护理、助产、康复治疗技术、家政服务与管理等22个大专专业和13个中专专业，构建了医药卫生、医养结合、现代服务和早期教育四大专业群。其中护理、家政服务与管理专业为中央财政重点支持建设专业，康复治疗技术、家政服务与管理专业为国家创新发展行动计划骨干专业、省级特色建设专业，老年服务与管理专业为全国养老服务类示范专业。

The college is a pilot unit for the Ministry of Education's 1+X vocational skill level certificates in elderly care, maternal and infant care, dementia care, and infant care. It offers 22 college majors and 13 secondary vocational majors such as nursing, midwifery, rehabilitation therapy technology, and home economics service and management, establishing four major groups: medical and health care, combination of medical and elderly care, modern services, and early education. Among them, nursing and home economics service and management are key majors supported by the central finance; rehabilitation therapy technology and home economics service and management are backbone majors of the National Innovation and Development Action Plan and provincial characteristic construction majors; elderly service and management is a national demonstration major in elderly care services.
