内蒙古艺术学院坐落于内蒙古自治区首府呼和浩特市，是区内唯一的综合性普通高等艺术院校，前身是创建于1957年的内蒙古艺术学校，1987年成立内蒙古大学艺术学院，2015年独立设置为内蒙古艺术学院。学校秉承“德高艺美，智圆行方”校训，落实立德树人根本任务，被评为内蒙古自治区文明校园和第八批全区民族团结进步示范单位。

Inner Mongolia Arts University is located in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is the only comprehensive public higher arts institution in the region. Its predecessor was the Inner Mongolia Art School founded in 1957. In 1987, it became the Art College of Inner Mongolia University, and in 2015, it was independently established as Inner Mongolia Arts University. Adhering to the motto of "Virtue and Artistic Excellence, Wisdom and Integrity", the university fulfills the fundamental task of moral education and has been awarded the title of "Civilized Campus of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region" and "Eighth Batch of Regional Model Unit for National Unity and Progress".

学校建有新华、云谷两个校区，占地面积756.35亩，现有在校生6193人，其中本科生4725人，研究生551人。设有音乐学院、舞蹈学院、戏剧影视学院、美术学院、设计学院等多个教学单位，形成了以民族艺术为特色，涵盖音乐、舞蹈、美术、设计等多学科协调发展的学科专业体系。

The university has two campuses, Xinhua and Yungu, covering an area of 756.35 mu. It currently has 6,193 students, including 4,725 undergraduates and 551 postgraduates. It comprises multiple teaching units such as the School of Music, School of Dance, School of Theatre and Film, School of Fine Arts, and School of Design, forming a disciplinary system with ethnic art as its特色 and coordinated development of multiple disciplines including music, dance, fine arts, and design.

学校始终致力于民族艺术传承与创新，《内蒙古艺术学院学报》获评RCCSE中国核心学术期刊（A-），入选《中国人文社会科学期刊AMI综合评价报告（2022年）》扩展等级。近年来积极推动艺术与科技融合，开设数字媒体艺术等前沿专业，培养了大批扎根草原、服务地方的高素质艺术人才。

The university is committed to the inheritance and innovation of ethnic arts. Its journal, "Journal of Inner Mongolia Arts University", has been rated as an RCCSE China Core Academic Journal (A-) and included in the expanded grade of the "Chinese Humanities and Social Sciences Journal AMI Comprehensive Evaluation Report (2022)". In recent years, it has actively promoted the integration of art and technology, offering cutting-edge majors such as Digital Media Art, and has cultivated a large number of high-quality artistic talents rooted in the grasslands and serving the local community.
