内蒙古建筑职业技术大学坐落于内蒙古自治区首府呼和浩特市，是全国首所建筑类全日制公办职业本科大学，也是自治区唯一独立设置的建筑类高等院校。学校前身为1956年成立的城市建设部呼和浩特城市建设工程学校，历经内蒙古建筑学院、内蒙古建筑学校等发展阶段，2025年6月升格为本科层次职业学校并更现名。学校是国家示范性高等职业院校、国家优质高等职业院校和国家“双高计划”高水平专业群建设单位，秉承“励学力行，善建筑成”的校训，致力于培养建筑领域高层次技术技能人才。

Inner Mongolia Technical University of Construction is located in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is the first full-time public vocational undergraduate university in China focusing on architecture and the only independently established architectural institution of higher education in the region. Formerly known as Hohhot Urban Construction Engineering School of the Ministry of Urban Construction founded in 1956, it has undergone development stages such as Inner Mongolia Institute of Architecture and Inner Mongolia Architectural School. In June 2025, it was upgraded to a vocational university at the undergraduate level and adopted its current name. The university is a National Demonstrative Higher Vocational College, a National High-Quality Higher Vocational College, and a construction unit of the national "Double High-Level Plan" high-level professional group. Adhering to the school motto of "Diligent in Learning and Practicing, Skilled in Construction and Achievement", it is committed to cultivating high-level technical and skilled talents in the construction field.

学校现有生态和新华两个校区，占地1161.84亩，建筑面积25.35万平方米，纸质图书85.02万册。设有15个教学和教辅单位，构建以土木建筑、交通运输类为主的优势专业体系，开设51个专业，其中国家级重点专业6个、自治区级重点专业21个。拥有国家级智能建造虚拟仿真开放性实训基地等教学平台，建有163个校内专业实训室和347个校外顶岗实习基地，形成“融通校企资源·共育塞外鲁班”的特色人才培养模式。

The university currently has two campuses: Ecological Campus and Xinhua Campus, covering an area of 1161.84 mu (about 774,560 square meters) with a building area of 253,500 square meters and 850,200 paper books. It has 15 teaching and auxiliary units, constructing an advantageous professional system focusing on civil engineering, architecture, and transportation. The university offers 51 majors, including 6 national key majors and 21 autonomous region-level key majors. It has teaching platforms such as the National Intelligent Construction Virtual Simulation Open Training Base, 163 on-campus professional training rooms, and 347 off-campus internship bases, forming a characteristic talent training model of "Integrating School-Enterprise Resources to Cultivate 'Saiwai Luban'".

学校现有教职工628人，其中专任教师490人，副高以上职称221人，硕士以上学位教师407人，拥有国家级教学团队1个、国家级职业教育教师教学创新团队2个。近年来荣获全国建设行业文化建设示范单位、自治区“三全育人”改革试点校等多项荣誉，学生在全国职业院校技能大赛等赛事中累计获得国家级奖项23项、自治区级奖项266项，为区域建筑业转型升级和经济社会发展提供了有力的人才支撑和技术服务。

The university has 628 faculty members, including 490 full-time teachers, 221 with associate senior titles or above, and 407 with master's degrees or above. It has 1 national-level teaching team and 2 national-level vocational education teacher teaching innovation teams. In recent years, it has won many honors such as the National Construction Industry Cultural Construction Demonstration Unit and the Autonomous Region's "Three-All Education" Reform Pilot School. Students have won 23 national awards and 266 autonomous region-level awards in competitions such as the National Vocational College Skills Competition, providing strong talent support and technical services for the transformation and upgrading of the regional construction industry and economic and social development.
