内蒙古师范大学是新中国成立后党和国家在边疆少数民族地区最早建立的高等学校之一，始建于1952年，前身为内蒙古师范学院，1982年更名为内蒙古师范大学。学校是内蒙古自治区重点建设高校，也是国家“中西部高校基础能力建设工程”支持院校，始终坚持立德树人根本任务，为民族地区培养了大批优秀人才。

Inner Mongolia Normal University is one of the earliest institutions of higher learning established by the Party and the country in border minority areas after the founding of New China. Founded in 1952, it was formerly known as Inner Mongolia Normal College and renamed Inner Mongolia Normal University in 1982. As a key construction university in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and a supported institution of the "Basic Capacity Building Project for Universities in Central and Western China", the university has always adhered to the fundamental task of fostering virtue through education and has cultivated a large number of outstanding talents for ethnic regions.

学校学科门类齐全，涵盖哲学、经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、理学、工学、管理学、艺术学等10大学科门类，形成了以教师教育为特色，多学科协调发展的学科专业体系。现有博士学位授权一级学科8个，硕士学位授权一级学科26个，硕士专业学位授权类别16个，是内蒙古自治区培养基础教育师资和民族教育人才的重要基地。

The university has a complete range of disciplines, covering 10 disciplines including philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, management, and art. It has formed a discipline and professional system with teacher education as its特色 and coordinated development of multiple disciplines. Currently, it has 8 first-level disciplines authorized for doctoral degrees, 26 first-level disciplines authorized for master's degrees, and 16 categories of master's professional degrees. It is an important base for cultivating basic education teachers and ethnic education talents in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
