江西飞行学院是于2023年12月经教育部批准设置，由江西省政府领导和管理的公办本科层次普通高等学校。学校拥有南昌和吉安两个校区，总占地面积1275亩。南昌校区毗邻省行政中心和南昌西客站，地理位置优越，交通便利，环境优美、设施完善。吉安校区生态良好，建有A级通航机场1个，配有塔台、机坪、机库、油库、通信导航等设施，拥有4000余平方公里的飞行空域和6条飞行航线。

Jiangxi Flight University is a public undergraduate-level ordinary institution of higher education approved by the Ministry of Education in December 2023, led and managed by the Jiangxi Provincial Government. The university has two campuses in Nanchang and Ji'an, covering a total area of 1275 mu. The Nanchang campus is adjacent to the provincial administrative center and Nanchang West Railway Station, enjoying a superior geographical location, convenient transportation, a beautiful environment and complete facilities. The Ji'an campus has a good ecological environment, with an A-level general aviation airport, equipped with tower, apron, hangar, oil depot, communication and navigation facilities, and has more than 4,000 square kilometers of flight airspace and 6 flight routes.

学校下设党政管理机构16个、群团组织2个、教辅部门6个、二级教学单位10个，另有全资公司江西赣江通用航空有限公司。现有在校生9811人。在编在岗教师400人，其中硕士及以上212人、占比53.13%，副高及以上147人、占比36.84%。建立了一支包括国务院特殊津贴获得者、民航特聘专家教授、飞行教员等实力较强的航空专业师资队伍。

The university has 16 party and government management institutions, 2 mass organizations, 6 teaching auxiliary departments, 10 secondary teaching units, and a wholly-owned company Jiangxi Ganjiang General Aviation Co., Ltd. There are currently 9,811 students. There are 400 in-service teachers, including 212 with master's degree or above, accounting for 53.13%, and 147 with associate senior title or above, accounting for 36.84%. A strong aviation professional faculty has been established, including recipients of special government allowances from the State Council, specially appointed experts and professors of civil aviation, and flight instructors.

学校现开设飞行技术、飞行器制造工程等本科专业16个，无人机应用技术、飞行器数字化制造工程等专科专业23个。获批中国民用航空局商业非运输航空运营人运行合格证(CCAR-91)、民用航空器驾驶员学校合格证(CCAR-141)，基本完成民用航空器维修培训机构(CCAR-147)合格审定。

The university currently offers 16 undergraduate majors such as Flight Technology and Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering, and 23 junior college majors such as Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Application Technology and Aircraft Digital Manufacturing Engineering. It has obtained the Civil Aviation Administration of China's Commercial Non-Transport Aviation Operator Operation Certificate (CCAR-91) and Civil Aircraft Pilot School Certificate (CCAR-141), and has basically completed the qualification approval of Civil Aircraft Maintenance Training Institution (CCAR-147).
