江汉艺术职业学院是2004年经湖北省人民政府批准成立、教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等学校，前身为1958年创建的湖北省潜江艺术师范学校。学院坐落于素有“曹禺故里、江汉油城、水乡园林、龙虾之乡”美誉的湖北潜江，占地面积近千亩，校舍面积46.67万平方米。

Jianghan Art Vocational College is a public full-time ordinary higher education institution approved by the Hubei Provincial People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education in 2004. Its predecessor is Hubei Qianjiang Art Normal School founded in 1958. The college is located in Qianjiang, Hubei Province, known as the hometown of Cao Yu, Jianghan Oil City, Water Town Garden, and Lobster Hometown, covering an area of nearly 1,000 mu with a school building area of 466,700 square meters.

学校设有音乐学院、设计学院、学前教育学院等8个教学院部，并建有潜江龙虾产业学院等3个特色产业学院。现有学生1.5万人，教职工617人，其中教授、副教授102人，双师型教师285人，楚天技能名师15人，省突出贡献专家3人，享受省政府专项津贴专家1人。学校坚持“艺术生活化、专业艺术化”发展思路，构建了音乐、舞蹈、艺术设计、教育、管理等五大特色专业群，开设26个专业，其中国家级骨干专业2个、省级品牌专业3个、省级特色专业2个，拥有4个国家级实训基地，教育教学成果丰硕，毕业生就业率连年保持在93%以上。

The school has 8 teaching colleges and departments including the School of Music, School of Design, and School of Preschool Education, and has built 3 characteristic industrial colleges such as Qianjiang Lobster Industry College. There are currently 15,000 students and 617 faculty members, including 102 professors and associate professors, 285 double-qualified teachers, 15 Chutian Skilled Teachers, 3 provincial experts with outstanding contributions, and 1 expert enjoying special government allowances. Adhering to the development idea of "art for life, professionalism for art", the school has constructed five characteristic professional groups including music, dance, art design, education, and management, offering 26 majors, including 2 national-level key majors, 3 provincial-level brand majors, and 2 provincial-level characteristic majors. It has 4 national-level training bases, fruitful educational and teaching achievements, and the employment rate of graduates has remained above 93% for years.
