江南大学坐落于江苏省无锡市，是教育部直属、国家“211工程”重点建设高校和“双一流”建设高校。学校源于1902年创建的三江师范学堂，历经百年发展，形成了以轻工为特色，食品科学与工程、轻工技术与工程、设计学等学科优势突出，多学科协调发展的学科专业体系。

Jiangnan University is located in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. It is a key university directly under the Ministry of Education, a national "211 Project" key construction university, and a "Double First-Class" construction university. The university originated from Sanjiang Normal School founded in 1902. After a century of development, it has formed a discipline system with light industry as its characteristic, prominent advantages in disciplines such as Food Science and Engineering, Light Industry Technology and Engineering, and Design, and coordinated development of multiple disciplines.

学校现有在校本科生、研究生、留学生3万余人，教职工3300余人，其中中国工程院院士3人、国家级人才150余人。校园占地3250亩，建筑面积110余万平方米，图书馆藏书290万册，教学科研仪器设备总值18.5亿元。

The university currently has more than 30,000 undergraduates, postgraduates, and international students, and more than 3,300 faculty members, including 3 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and more than 150 national-level talents. The campus covers an area of 3,250 mu, with a building area of more than 1.1 million square meters. The library has a collection of 2.9 million books, and the total value of teaching and research instruments and equipment is 1.85 billion yuan.
