九江学院是经国家教育部批准设立的国有公办全日制本科普通高等院校，办学历史可追溯至1901年创办的但福德医院护士学校，2002年由九江财经高等专科学校、九江师范专科学校、九江医学专科学校和九江教育学院合并组建而成。学校坐落于江西省九江市，地处庐山之麓、长江之滨、鄱阳湖之畔，现有主校区、浔东校区等五个校区，总占地面积2850多亩，校舍面积105万平方米，全日制在校生3.4万余人。

Jiujiang University is a state-owned public full-time undergraduate institution of higher education approved by the Ministry of Education of China. Its educational history can be traced back to the Danford Hospital Nurse School founded in 1901. It was established in 2002 through the merger of Jiujiang College of Finance and Economics, Jiujiang Teachers College, Jiujiang Medical College, and Jiujiang Institute of Education. Located in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, at the foot of Lushan Mountain, by the Yangtze River, and beside Poyang Lake, the university has five campuses including the main campus and Xundong campus, covering a total area of over 2,850 mu with a building area of 1.05 million square meters and more than 34,000 full-time students.

学校学科门类齐全，下设22个二级学院，开设77个本科专业，涵盖经济学、法学、教育学、文学、理学、工学、农学、医学、管理学、艺术学等十大学科门类。拥有国际经济与贸易、生物科学等国家级特色专业，国际贸易、凝聚态物理等省级重点学科，建有22个实验教学中心及1所"三级甲等"附属医院。图书馆纸质藏书317万余册，电子图书200余万种，中外文数据库108个，为教学科研提供有力支撑。

The university offers a comprehensive range of disciplines, with 22 secondary colleges and 77 undergraduate programs covering ten disciplines including economics, law, education, literature, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, and art. It boasts national characteristic majors such as International Economics and Trade and Biological Science, as well as provincial key disciplines like International Trade and Condensed Matter Physics. The university has established 22 experimental teaching centers and one "Grade III A" affiliated hospital. The library houses over 3.17 million paper books, more than 2 million electronic books, and 108 Chinese and foreign databases, providing strong support for teaching and scientific research.
