吉林工商学院是一所吉林省省属公办普通高等院校，坐落在素有“北国春城”美誉的吉林省省会长春市。学校始建于1958年，2007年经国家教育部批准，由吉林财税高等专科学校、吉林商业高等专科学校和吉林粮食高等专科学校合并升本组建而成。2013年12月，学校顺利通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估；2015年12月，被批准为吉林省首批整体转型试点高校。

Jilin Business and Technology College is a public ordinary higher education institution affiliated to Jilin Province, located in Changchun City, Jilin Province, known as the "Spring City of Northern China". Founded in 1958, the college was upgraded to an undergraduate institution in 2007 with the approval of the Ministry of Education, formed by the merger of Jilin College of Finance and Taxation, Jilin College of Commerce, and Jilin College of Grain. In December 2013, it successfully passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment by the Ministry of Education; in December 2015, it was approved as one of the first batch of overall transformation pilot universities in Jilin Province.

2012年，经省发改委批复，学校在长春九台经济开发区卡伦湖畔移地建设新校区，2014年整体搬入，新校区占地面积98.4万平方米，绿化面积38.4万平方米，建筑面积32.6万余平方米。学校面向全国31个省份招生，现有全日制本专科在校生15772人，教职工952人，其中高级职称教职工394人，硕士、博士学位教职工706人，拥有国务院特贴获得者、教育部新世纪优秀人才、吉林省高级专家等一批高层次人才。

In 2012, approved by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the college relocated to a new campus on the shore of Kalun Lake in Changchun Jiutai Economic Development Zone, and moved into the new campus in 2014. The new campus covers an area of 984,000 square meters, with a green area of 384,000 square meters and a building area of over 326,000 square meters. Enrolling students from 31 provinces across China, the college currently has 15,772 full-time undergraduate and junior college students and 952 faculty members, including 394 with senior professional titles and 706 with master's or doctoral degrees. It boasts a group of high-level talents such as recipients of special government allowances from the State Council, New Century Excellent Talents of the Ministry of Education, and senior experts of Jilin Province.

学校构建德智体美劳五位一体人才培养体系，开设45个本科专业和14个专科专业，覆盖经济学、管理学、工学、理学、文学、艺术学、农学7个学科门类。拥有国家级一流本科专业建设点2个、省级一流专业10个，获国家级教学成果奖1项、省级教学成果奖21项。形成以“财经”为底色，以新工科、新文科为亮色，突出“粮食”“餐旅”特色，多学科协调发展的办学格局。

The college has established a five-in-one talent training system integrating morality, intelligence, physical education, aesthetics, and labor education, offering 45 undergraduate programs and 14 junior college programs covering 7 disciplines: Economics, Management, Engineering, Science, Literature, Art, and Agriculture. It has 2 national-level first-class undergraduate major construction sites and 10 provincial-level first-class majors, and has won 1 national teaching achievement award and 21 provincial teaching achievement awards. It has formed a school-running pattern with "finance and economics" as the foundation, emerging engineering and liberal arts as the highlights, and "grain" and "catering and tourism" as the characteristics, achieving coordinated development of multiple disciplines.
