吉林艺术学院坐落于吉林省长春市，是东北地区唯一一所综合性高等艺术院校，创建于1946年，前身为东北大学鲁迅文艺学院音乐系。学校以培养高素质艺术人才为目标，涵盖音乐、美术、设计、戏剧与影视、舞蹈、新媒体等多个学科领域，形成了鲜明的办学特色和深厚的艺术底蕴。

Jilin University of the Arts is located in Changchun, Jilin Province. As the only comprehensive higher art institution in Northeast China, it was founded in 1946, formerly the Music Department of Lu Xun Academy of Arts and Literature of Northeast University. Aiming to cultivate high-quality artistic talents, the university covers multiple disciplines including music, fine arts, design, drama and film, dance, and new media, forming distinct school-running characteristics and profound artistic heritage.

学校现有造型艺术学院、设计学院、音乐学院等13个教学单位，拥有艺术学理论、音乐与舞蹈学、戏剧与影视学、美术学、设计学5个一级学科硕士学位授权点，构建了较为完整的艺术教育体系。近年来，学校积极推进国际交流与合作，与多所国外艺术院校建立了友好合作关系，为学生提供了广阔的艺术实践和学术交流平台。

The university currently has 13 teaching units including the School of Plastic Arts, School of Design, and School of Music. It has 5 first-level discipline master's degree authorization points in Art Theory, Music and Dance Studies, Drama and Film Studies, Fine Arts, and Design, forming a relatively complete art education system. In recent years, the university has actively promoted international exchanges and cooperation, established friendly cooperative relations with many foreign art institutions, and provided students with a broad platform for artistic practice and academic exchanges.
