济宁医学院是山东省属普通高等医学院校，创建于1952年，始称济宁医士学校，1958年改建为济宁医学院，2008年学校以优秀成绩通过教育部本科教学工作水平评估。学校扎根孔孟之乡，秉承“明德仁爱、博学至善”的校训，坚持“为党育人、为国育才”的初心使命，培养了大批高素质医药卫生人才。

Jining Medical University is a provincial public medical college in Shandong Province. Founded in 1952 as Jining Medical School, it was restructured into Jining Medical University in 1958. In 2008, the university passed the undergraduate teaching level evaluation by the Ministry of Education with excellent results. Rooted in the hometown of Confucius and Mencius, the university upholds the motto of "Virtue and Benevolence, Erudition and Perfection" and adheres to the original mission of "Cultivating talents for the Party and the country", having cultivated a large number of high-quality medical and health talents.

学校现有济宁太白湖校区、任城校区和日照校区，占地总面积115万平方米，建筑面积67万平方米。设有19个教学单位，36个本科专业，涵盖医学、工学、理学、管理学、文学等多个学科门类。拥有国家级一流本科专业建设点6个，省级一流本科专业建设点13个，形成了以医学为主体，多学科协调发展的学科专业体系。

The university currently has three campuses: Taibai Lake Campus and Rencheng Campus in Jining, and Rizhao Campus, covering a total area of 1.15 million square meters with a building area of 670,000 square meters. It has 19 teaching units and 36 undergraduate majors, covering multiple disciplines such as medicine, engineering, science, management, and literature. It has 6 national first-class undergraduate major construction sites and 13 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, forming a disciplinary and professional system with medicine as the main body and coordinated development of multiple disciplines.

学校坚持以人才培养为中心，深化教育教学改革，推进产教融合、医教协同。拥有一支结构合理、素质优良的师资队伍，其中高级职称教师600余人，博士、硕士学位教师占比达90%以上。建有国家级实验教学示范中心、国家级虚拟仿真实验教学中心等多个高水平教学平台，为学生成长成才提供了坚实保障。

Adhering to talent cultivation as the center, the university deepens education and teaching reform and promotes the integration of industry and education as well as the collaboration between medical and educational sectors. It has a well-structured and high-quality faculty, with over 600 teachers with senior professional titles, and more than 90% of teachers holding doctoral or master's degrees. It has built multiple high-level teaching platforms such as a national experimental teaching demonstration center and a national virtual simulation experimental teaching center, providing a solid guarantee for students' growth and success.
