晋中职业技术学院成立于2004年，是经山西省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制普通高职院校。学校坚持立德树人，秉持“修德、积学、精技、善行”的校训，着力推行校企合作、工学结合人才培养模式和晋商文化渗透、校企文化融合、对外文化交流文化熏陶模式，致力于培养知识型、技能型、创新型技术技能人才。学校是山西省首批示范性高等职业院校、山西省优质高等职业院校建设单位、山西省高水平高等职业学校建设单位，占地面积1500亩，校本部位于山西省晋中市榆次区龙湖东大街919号，东校区位于榆次区蕴华西街229号。

Jinzhong Vocational and Technical College was founded in 2004. It is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shanxi Province and registered with the Ministry of Education. Adhering to the school motto of "Cultivating Virtue, Accumulating Knowledge, Mastering Skills, and Practicing Good Deeds", the college is committed to cultivating knowledge-based, skilled, and innovative technical talents through school-enterprise cooperation, work-study integration talent training mode, and cultural edification modes such as Jin business culture infiltration, school-enterprise culture integration, and foreign cultural exchanges. It is one of the first demonstration higher vocational colleges in Shanxi Province, a construction unit of high-quality higher vocational colleges in Shanxi Province, and a construction unit of high-level higher vocational schools in Shanxi Province, covering an area of 1,500 mu. The main campus is located at No. 919, Longhu East Street, Yuci District, Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, and the East Campus is located at No. 229, Yunhua West Street, Yuci District.

学校设有车辆工程、电子信息、智能制造、经济管理、能源工程、生物工程、无人机技术和文化艺术8个系57个高职专业，形成了12个专业群，其中电子商务专业群为山西省高水平专业群。现有教职工600余名，副高以上职称120余名，在校生近14000人。学校深化产教融合，与吉利汽车、一汽大众、百度智行等30余家企业构建良好合作关系，建成吉利产业学院等实训基地，师生在全国职业院校技能大赛、全国大学生职业规划大赛等赛事中屡获佳绩，毕业生就业率保持在90%以上。

The college has 8 departments including Vehicle Engineering, Electronic Information, Intelligent Manufacturing, Economic Management, Energy Engineering, Biological Engineering, UAV Technology, and Culture and Art, offering 57 higher vocational majors and forming 12 professional groups, among which the e-commerce professional group is a high-level professional group in Shanxi Province. It has more than 600 faculty members, over 120 with associate senior titles or above, and nearly 14,000 students. Deepening the integration of production and education, the college has established good cooperative relations with more than 30 enterprises such as Geely Automobile, FAW-Volkswagen, and Baidu Apollo, and built training bases including Geely Industry College. Teachers and students have won many awards in competitions such as the National Vocational College Skills Competition and the National College Students' Career Planning Competition, with the employment rate of graduates remaining above 90%.
