开封文化艺术职业学院是由开封市人民政府举办，2010年3月经河南省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案成立的公办普通高等职业院校。其前身可追溯至1908年创办的中州女子学堂，整合了原开封市多所优质教育资源，文脉绵延百余年。学院以高等职业教育为主，立足地方、服务全省、面向全国，致力于培养文化、艺术、旅游、服务等领域的高素质技术技能人才和中小学、学前教育师资。

Kaifeng Vocational College of Culture and Arts is a public higher vocational college established by the Kaifeng Municipal Government. Approved by the Henan Provincial People's Government in March 2010 and registered with the Ministry of Education, it traces its roots back to the Zhongzhou Women's School founded in 1908, integrating multiple优质 educational resources from Kaifeng. Focusing on higher vocational education, the college is rooted in the local community, serving the whole province and facing the nation, dedicated to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents in culture, art, tourism, service and other fields, as well as teachers for primary and secondary schools and preschool education.

学院坐落于“八朝古都”开封市东京大道中段，规划面积550亩，建筑面积21万平方米。现有教职工900余人，其中教授、副教授165人，双师素质教师500余人，聘请刘诗昆等知名艺术家为客座教授。开设表演艺术、学前教育、文物修复与保护等50余个专业，形成艺术类为特色、师范类为优势、社会服务类为支撑的专业布局，全日制在校生1.4万余人，毕业生去向落实率连年保持在90%以上。

Located in the middle section of Dongjing Avenue in Kaifeng, an "ancient capital of eight dynasties", the college covers a planned area of 550 mu with a building area of 210,000 square meters. It has over 900 faculty members, including 165 professors and associate professors, and more than 500 double-qualified teachers. Renowned artists like Liu Shikun are invited as visiting professors. The college offers over 50 majors such as Performing Arts, Preschool Education, and Cultural Relics Restoration and Protection, forming a professional layout with art majors as characteristics, normal majors as advantages, and social service majors as support. It has over 14,000 full-time students, and the employment rate of graduates has remained above 90% for years.

学院是教育部首批现代学徒制试点单位、河南省优质高等职业院校，建有96个校内实训室和98个校外实习实训基地，与清明上河园、开封电视台等单位深度合作。秉承“厚德强能、砺志尚美”校训，着力培养德智体美劳全面发展的高素质人才，全力创办省级高水平高等职业学校。

The college is one of the first pilot units of modern apprenticeship system by the Ministry of Education and a high-quality higher vocational college in Henan Province. It has 96 on-campus training rooms and 98 off-campus internship and training bases, cooperating deeply with units such as Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden and Kaifeng TV Station. Adhering to the school motto of "Virtue and Ability, Aspiration and Beauty", it strives to cultivate high-quality talents with all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical education, aesthetics and labor, and makes every effort to establish a provincial high-level higher vocational school.
