近畿大学（英语：Kindai University；日文平假名：きんきだいがく），简称近大，本部位于日本大阪府东大阪市，是一所成立于1925年的私立综合性大学。该校以“实学教育”与“人格陶冶”为建校理念，位列日本关西地区“产近甲龙”名校群，是西日本规模最大的私立大学之一。

Kindai University, abbreviated as Kindai, is a private comprehensive university founded in 1925 with its headquarters located in Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Adhering to the educational philosophy of "Practical Education" and "Character Cultivation", it ranks among the prestigious "San-Kin-Ko-Ryu" university group in the Kansai region and is one of the largest private universities in western Japan.

近畿大学在学术研究领域成就卓著，尤其以水产学科闻名世界——其农学院成功攻克金枪鱼完全人工养殖这一世界性难题，被誉为“金枪鱼之校”。学校还拥有日本私立大学中唯一的原子力研究所，在医学、生物工学、智能机械等领域亦具强劲实力，2020年泰晤士高等教育日本版排名中位列西日本私立大学第一。

The university boasts remarkable academic achievements, particularly renowned globally for its Aquaculture Department, which successfully solved the worldwide challenge of complete artificial cultivation of bluefin tuna, earning it the nickname "Tuna University". It also houses Japan's only private university-affiliated Nuclear Research Institute, with strong capabilities in medicine, bioengineering, and intelligent machinery. In the 2020 Times Higher Education Japan Rankings, it ranked first among private universities in western Japan.
