日喀则职业技术学院是日喀则市人民政府举办的全日制专科层次高等职业学校，作为日喀则第一所高等职业院校，它的建成投用实现了日喀则高等教育"从无到有"的历史性突破。学院总占地面积2.68万平方米，总建筑面积约5.1万平方米，计划于2025年9月15日开学。

Shigatse Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public vocational college sponsored by the Shigatse Municipal People's Government. As the first higher vocational college in Shigatse, its completion and commissioning mark a historic breakthrough in higher education from scratch in Shigatse. The college covers a total area of 26,800 square meters with a total construction area of approximately 51,000 square meters, and is scheduled to open on September 15, 2025.

学院首批开设护理、婴幼儿托育服务与管理、现代农业技术等6个专业，首届计划招生750人（其中区内600人，区外150人）。新生网上招录工作已于2025年7月23日正式开始，预计8月31日结束，相关录取名单通过日喀则市教育局官网公布。

The college initially offers 6 majors including Nursing, Infant Care Service and Management, and Modern Agricultural Technology, with a planned enrollment of 750 students for the first batch (600 from within Tibet and 150 from outside). The online enrollment for new students officially started on July 23, 2025 and is expected to end on August 31, with the admission list to be published on the official website of Shigatse Education Bureau.
