昆明幼儿师范高等专科学校是经云南省人民政府批准、教育部备案的公办全日制普通高等职业院校，由云南省教育厅指导、昆明市人民政府主办，是云南省唯一一所专门培养幼教师资的高等专科学校。学校始建于1956年，2018年2月正式升格为高等专科学校，2021年12月高质量通过高等职业院校人才培养合格评估。

Kunming Preschool Education College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Yunnan Province and registered by the Ministry of Education. Guided by the Yunnan Provincial Department of Education and sponsored by the Kunming Municipal People's Government, it is the only higher vocational college in Yunnan Province specializing in cultivating preschool education teachers. Founded in 1956, the college was officially upgraded to a higher vocational college in February 2018 and passed the qualification assessment of talent training in higher vocational colleges with high quality in December 2021.

学校位于昆明市嵩明职教园区，校园占地525亩，校舍建筑面积14.5万平方米，教学仪器设备总值达1600余万元。设有学前教育、早期教育、音乐教育、美术教育等20余个专业，构建了以幼教为核心，涵盖商贸、康养等领域的专业群体系。现有教职工364人，其中副高级及以上职称139人，硕士研究生及以上学历124人，在校生规模近万人。

Located in Songming Vocational Education Park of Kunming, the college covers an area of 525 mu with a building area of 145,000 square meters and teaching equipment worth more than 16 million yuan. It offers over 20 majors including Preschool Education, Early Childhood Education, Music Education, and Art Education, forming a professional group system centered on preschool education and covering commerce, health care and other fields. There are 364 faculty members, including 139 with associate senior titles or above and 124 with master's degree or above, with a student population of nearly 10,000.

学校秉承“厚德博学、求实创新”校训，建有幼儿园模拟实训室、感觉统合实训室等百余间专业实训场所，形成了“校地融合、园校共育”的办学特色。近年来荣获“国家级重点建设示范学校”“云南省文明单位”等称号，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上，为云南学前教育事业发展输送了大批高素质人才。

Adhering to the school motto of "Virtue, Erudition, Practicality and Innovation", the college has built more than 100 professional training venues such as kindergarten simulation training rooms and sensory integration training rooms, forming the school-running characteristic of "integration of school and locality, co-education of kindergarten and school". In recent years, it has been awarded titles such as "National Key Construction Demonstration School" and "Civilized Unit of Yunnan Province". The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for many years, providing a large number of high-quality talents for the development of preschool education in Yunnan.
