昆明航空职业学院是由云南省人民政府批准、国家教育部备案，以培养航空类技术技能型人才为主的民办非营利性普通高等院校。学校坐落于云南省昆明市空港大道阔叶街6号（昆明长水国际机场旁），占地面积达244.63亩，总建筑面积16万平方米，投资总额11亿元。学校设施完善，环境优美，拥有标准400米跑道运动场、8个篮球场及2个排球场，1200余间四人间学生公寓，5100平方米图书馆（馆藏纸质图书11万册、电子图书10万册），并建有30余个面积达2.43万平方米的校内实习实训基地，以及与企业合作共建的1.1万平方米航空职业能力综合培训基地（涵盖乘务培训中心与飞行培训中心）。

Kunming Aviation Vocational College is a private non-profit ordinary higher education institution approved by the People's Government of Yunnan Province and registered with the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, focusing on cultivating technical and skilled talents in the aviation field. Located at No. 6 Kuoye Street, Konggang Avenue, Kunming City, Yunnan Province (next to Kunming Changshui International Airport), the college covers an area of 244.63 mu with a total construction area of 160,000 square meters and a total investment of 1.1 billion yuan. It boasts complete facilities and a beautiful environment, including a standard 400-meter track stadium, 8 basketball courts, 2 volleyball courts, over 1,200 four-person student apartments, a 5,100-square-meter library (housing 110,000 paper books and 100,000 e-books), more than 30 on-campus internship and training bases covering 24,300 square meters, and a 11,000-square-meter comprehensive aviation vocational capacity training base co-built with enterprises (including a crew training center and a flight training center).

学校拥有一支由师德高尚的双师型教师队伍构成，包括三级教授、行业专家等领衔的教学团队，如空中乘务专业带头人范德华教授（原云南旅游职业学院院长）、飞机机载设备装配调试技术专业教学指导委员会主任委员魏道德教授等。学校重点面向航空运输、航空装备、民航服务、低空经济、民航机场运行管理和通用航空发展产业需求设置专业，首批开设飞机机电设备维修、飞机电子设备维修、无人机应用技术、空中乘务、民航空中安全保卫、航空物流管理6个专业，致力于培养具有扎实专业基础知识、突出核心能力和综合素养的高质量技术技能型人才。

The college has a team of double-qualified teachers with noble ethics, including teaching teams led by third-level professors and industry experts, such as Professor Fan Dehua, leader of the flight attendant major (former president of Yunnan Tourism Vocational College), and Professor Wei Daode, director of the Teaching Steering Committee for Aircraft Onboard Equipment Assembly and Debugging Technology. Focusing on the needs of aviation transportation, aviation equipment, civil aviation services, low-altitude economy, civil aviation airport operation management, and general aviation development industries, the college initially offers 6 majors: Aircraft Mechanical and Electrical Equipment Maintenance, Aircraft Electronic Equipment Maintenance, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Application Technology, Flight Attendant, Civil Aviation In-flight Security, and Aviation Logistics Management. It is committed to cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents with solid professional basic knowledge, outstanding core capabilities, and comprehensive literacy.
