聊城大学东昌学院成立于2005年，位于山东省聊城市北外环路266号，是经教育部批准设置、山东省教育厅主管，由聊城大学和国有企业聊城市财信投资控股集团有限公司共同举办的全日制普通本科高等学校。2021年顺利通过山东省高校设置委员会核验，拟转设为聊城理工学院。学校专业设置以理工为主，经济学、管理学、教育学、法学、文学、艺术学等多学科协调发展，面向全国24个省（市、自治区）招收普通本、专科学生，现有全日制在校生10975人，其中本科（含专升本）7037人、专科3938人。

Liaocheng University Dongchang College was founded in 2005 and is located at No. 266, North Outer Ring Road, Liaocheng City, Shandong Province. It is a full-time ordinary undergraduate higher education institution approved by the Ministry of Education, supervised by the Shandong Provincial Department of Education, and jointly organized by Liaocheng University and Liaocheng Caixin Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd., a state-owned enterprise. In 2021, it successfully passed the verification of the Shandong Provincial University Setting Committee and is proposed to be transformed into Liaocheng Institute of Technology. The college mainly focuses on science and engineering disciplines, with coordinated development of multiple disciplines such as economics, management, education, law, literature, and art. It enrolls ordinary undergraduate and junior college students from 24 provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) across the country, with a current total of 10,975 full-time students, including 7,037 undergraduates (including those upgraded from junior college) and 3,938 junior college students.

学校坚持依法办学、质量立校、特色兴校、人才强校、产教融合的办学理念，主动适应国家和地方经济社会发展需求，积极探索高素质应用型人才培养模式。开创2.5+1.5、2+1、3+1分段式教学模式，结合导师制、双导师制，推动学生实习与创业深度对接；积极探索校地企协同育人，与深圳华大时空中心、中通客车、信发集团、青软集团等知名企业深度产教融合，成效显著。建有4所校级现代产业学院、3所校级专业特色学院，其中文化创意产业学院和数字智能产业学院入选山东省现代产业学院建设名单，为区域经济社会发展培养高素质应用型人才。

The college adheres to the school-running philosophy of running the school in accordance with the law, establishing the school with quality, invigorating the school with characteristics, strengthening the school with talents, and integrating production and education. It actively adapts to the needs of national and local economic and social development and explores high-quality applied talent training models. It has pioneered segmented teaching models such as 2.5+1.5, 2+1, and 3+1, combined with tutorial system and double tutorial system to promote in-depth integration of student internships and entrepreneurship. It actively explores university-local-enterprise collaborative education and has achieved remarkable results through in-depth industry-education integration with well-known enterprises such as Shenzhen Huada Space-Time Center, Zhongtong Bus, Xinfeng Group, and Qingsoft Group. It has established 4 university-level modern industrial colleges and 3 university-level professional characteristic colleges, among which the Cultural and Creative Industry College and the Digital Intelligent Industry College have been included in the list of Shandong Provincial Modern Industrial College Construction, cultivating high-quality applied talents for regional economic and social development.

学校坐落于人文荟萃、风景秀丽的江北水城——山东省聊城市，地处风光旖旎的徒骇河畔，校园占地1011.38亩，校舍建筑面积38.26万平方米，以运河文化为主题，凸显数字化、智慧化、书院式特色与理工类高校特点，采用“一心两院，一环两轴”总体结构布局。教学设施先进，拥有智慧教室、大型计算机网络教室、语音室等现代化教学基础设施，建有实训中心4所、实验实训室135个、创业孵化室17个，教学科研仪器设备总值1.38亿元；生活与服务设施完善，图书馆为国家首批CALIS（中国高等教育文献保障系统）会员馆，馆藏纸质图书79.2万册，现藏明清线装古籍1340册，入选《山东省珍贵古籍名录》。

The college is located in Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, a famous "Northern Water City" with a rich cultural heritage and beautiful scenery, situated along the picturesque Tuhai River. The campus covers an area of 1011.38 mu, with a building area of 382,600 square meters. With the canal culture as the theme, it highlights digital, intelligent, and academy-style characteristics as well as the characteristics of science and engineering universities, adopting the overall structural layout of "one center, two courtyards, one ring and two axes". It has advanced teaching facilities, including smart classrooms, large computer network classrooms, language labs and other modern teaching infrastructure, 4 training centers, 135 experimental training rooms, 17 business incubators, with a total value of 138 million yuan for teaching and research instruments and equipment. The living and service facilities are complete. The library is one of the first CALIS (China Academic Library & Information System) member libraries in China, with a collection of 792,000 paper books, including 1,340 volumes of Ming and Qing dynasty thread-bound ancient books, which have been included in the "Shandong Provincial List of Precious Ancient Books".

学校拥有一支结构合理、教学水平高、科研能力强的师资队伍。现有教师553人，外聘教师中行业企业占比近60%。其中山东省优秀教师2人、山东省思政课优秀教师、高校优秀辅导员8人、聊城市优秀教师18人、聊城市有突出贡献的中青年专家5人、羡林学者2人、羡林学者青年专家6人、聊城市智库高端科技人才3人。教学成果显著，机械设计制造及其自动化专业获批山东省一流本科专业建设点，2门课程被认定为山东省首批智慧课程，多门课程被认定为山东省一流课程，计算机科学技术实验教学中心获批山东省普通高等学校实验教学示范中心、济南阳光大姐服务有限责任公司家政学专业实践基地获批山东省普通高等学校示范性实习（实训）基地，与山东三木众合信息科技股份有限公司联合申报并获批山东省第三批数据开放创新应用实验室。

The teaching achievements are remarkable. The major of Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation has been approved as a first-class undergraduate major construction site in Shandong Province. Two courses have been recognized as the first batch of smart courses in Shandong Province, and many courses have been recognized as first-class courses in Shandong Province. The Computer Science and Technology Experimental Teaching Center has been approved as the Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center of Shandong Provincial Colleges and Universities. The practice base of家政学 major of Jinan Sunshine Sister Service Co., Ltd. has been approved as the Demonstrative Internship (Training) Base of Shandong Provincial Colleges and Universities. It has jointly applied with Shandong Sanmu Zhonghe Information Technology Co., Ltd. and was approved as the third batch of data opening innovation application laboratories in Shandong Province.

学校积极拓展国际教育合作，与泰国西那瓦国际大学、白俄罗斯国立大学、韩国庆星大学等8所境外高校签订合作协议，开设境外专升本、本升硕交流项目，为师生搭建国际交流与学习平台，共享优质国际教育资源；同时开设汉语言文学等6个专业的高等学历继续教育，助力全民终身学习，构建多元化教育服务体系。“十五五”期间，学校力争成功转设为聊城理工学院，顺利通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估，建成特色鲜明、服务区域发展的高水平应用型本科高校，综合实力进入省内同类高校先进行列。
