聊城职业技术学院是2000年10月经山东省人民政府批准成立的公办全日制普通高等专科学校，由原聊城卫生学校、聊城广播电视大学、聊城地区旅游职业中等专业学校和聊城市畜牧研究所合并组建而成。学校是首批山东省示范性高职院校、山东省技能型人才培养特色名校、山东省优质高等职业院校，也是聊城市政府建设聊城现代职业教育体系的龙头单位。

Liaocheng Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Shandong Province in October 2000. It was formed by the merger of the former Liaocheng Health School, Liaocheng Radio and TV University, Liaocheng Regional Tourism Vocational Secondary School and Liaocheng Animal Husbandry Research Institute. The college is among the first batch of demonstration higher vocational colleges in Shandong Province, a characteristic prestigious school for cultivating skilled talents in Shandong Province, a high-quality higher vocational college in Shandong Province, and also the leading unit of the Liaocheng Municipal Government in building the modern vocational education system in Liaocheng.

学院坐落于国家历史文化名城——山东省聊城市，被誉为“江北水城·运河古都”，是冀鲁豫三省交界地区的中心城市和物流枢纽。学校占地面积63.4万平方米，建筑面积27.26万平方米，馆藏纸质图书87万册，电子图书资料89088GB。现设有护理学院、医学院、建筑学院等14个二级教学院部和42个招生专业，涵盖护理、机电、汽车检测与维修、建筑工程、物流等多个领域，全日制在校生12000余人。

The college is located in Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, a national historical and cultural city known as "Water City in Northern China · Ancient Canal Capital", which is a central city and logistics hub in the border area of Shandong, Hebei and Henan provinces. The college covers an area of 634,000 square meters with a construction area of 272,600 square meters. It has a collection of 870,000 paper books and 89088GB of electronic book materials. Currently, it has 14 secondary teaching colleges and departments including the School of Nursing, the School of Medicine, and the School of Architecture, offering 42 enrollment majors covering nursing, mechanical and electrical engineering, automobile inspection and maintenance, construction engineering, logistics and other fields, with more than 12,000 full-time students.
