临沧职业学院于2024年3月经云南省人民政府批准成立，是一所国家教育部备案的全日制公办普通高等职业院校。学院位于临沧市临翔区博尚大学城，规划用地约1720亩，校舍总建筑面积55.23万平方米，项目概算总投资42.86亿元。作为临沧市首所高职院校，学院的设立填补了当地高等职业教育的空白，致力于培养服务区域经济社会发展的高素质技能型人才。

LinCang Vocational College was approved by the People's Government of Yunnan Province in March 2024 and is a full-time public higher vocational college registered with the Ministry of Education. Located in the Boshan University Town, Linxiang District, Lincang City, the college covers a planned area of approximately 1,720 mu (about 114.67 hectares) with a total building area of 552,300 square meters, and the total project budget investment is 4.286 billion yuan. As the first higher vocational college in Lincang City, it fills the gap in local higher vocational education and is committed to cultivating high-quality skilled talents to serve regional economic and social development.

学院设有卫生健康学院、高原特色农林学院、国际贸易学院、继续教育学院4个二级学院，2024年首批开设药学、中医康复技术、跨境电子商务、新能源汽车技术、机电一体化技术、婴幼儿托育服务与管理6个专业，2025年新增畜牧兽医、智能制造装备技术等5个专业，形成了覆盖健康服务、现代农业、先进制造、跨境贸易等领域的专业体系。现有专任教师98人，其中副高及以上职称48人，双师型教师59人，配备校内实训室36个，图书资料20万册，为教学科研提供坚实支撑。

The college has four secondary colleges: the School of Health Sciences, the School of Plateau Characteristic Agriculture and Forestry, the School of International Trade, and the School of Continuing Education. In 2024, it initially offered 6 majors including Pharmacy, Traditional Chinese Medicine Rehabilitation Technology, Cross-border E-commerce, New Energy Vehicle Technology, Mechatronics Technology, and Infant Care Service and Management. In 2025, 5 more majors such as Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, and Intelligent Manufacturing Equipment Technology were added, forming a professional system covering health services, modern agriculture, advanced manufacturing, cross-border trade and other fields. There are 98 full-time teachers, including 48 with associate senior titles or above and 59 double-qualified teachers. The college is equipped with 36 on-campus training rooms and 200,000 books, providing solid support for teaching and scientific research.

学院坚持“立足临沧，服务云南，辐射南亚东南亚”的办学定位，依托行业、融合产业，着力培养推进地方经济社会发展、乡村振兴、沿边开放急需的高素质技能型人才。通过深化产教融合、校企合作，构建“工学结合、知行合一”的人才培养模式，致力于建设成为省内外有影响、有特色，专业行业认可、地方离不开、国际可交流的高等职业院校。

Adhering to the school-running orientation of "based in Lincang, serving Yunnan, and radiating to South and Southeast Asia", the college relies on industries and integrates with industries to focus on cultivating high-quality skilled talents urgently needed for local economic and social development, rural revitalization, and border opening-up.
