漯河食品工程职业大学是教育部批准设立的本科层次职业院校，是全国食品领域唯一的职业大学，主要为河南食品工业大省万亿食品产业及全国食品产业高质量发展培养急需的高层次人才。学校是全国职业教育先进单位、中央财政支持的职业教育实训基地、中国食品工业产学研转创融合发展示范基地、国家级食品类高技能人才培养培训基地，也是河南省食品职业教育集团理事长单位。

Luohe Food Engineering Vocational University is an undergraduate-level vocational college approved by the Ministry of Education and the only vocational university in the national food field. It mainly cultivates high-level talents urgently needed for the development of Henan's trillion-yuan food industry and the high-quality development of the national food industry. The university is an Advanced Unit of National Vocational Education, a vocational education training base supported by the central finance, a demonstration base for the integration of industry, education and research in China's food industry, a national high-skilled talent training base for food, and also the chairman unit of Henan Food Vocational Education Group.

学校占地963.60亩，建筑面积35.50万平方米，在校生9165人，专任教师513人，其中双师型教师326人。围绕食品产业开设食品加工、检测、机械等特色专业，共建10个产业学院，学生就业率保持在96%以上，已为社会培养近10万名技术技能人才，有力支撑河南食品产业发展。

The university covers an area of 963.60 mu with a building area of 355,000 square meters. It has 9,165 students and 513 full-time teachers, including 326 double-qualified teachers. Focusing on the food industry, it offers characteristic majors such as food processing, testing, and machinery, and has jointly established 10 industrial colleges. The employment rate of students remains above 96%, and it has cultivated nearly 100,000 technical and skilled talents for the society, strongly supporting the development of Henan's food industry.
