辽宁传媒学院始建于1991年，2014年经教育部批准升格为本科院校，是东北地区唯一一所独立设置的传媒艺术类本科院校，位于辽宁省省会沈阳市。学校现有南、北两个校区，占地面积87万平方米，建筑面积41万平方米，是一所建筑恢弘大气、环境优雅宜人的现代化花园式大学。学校教学设施完备，建有400米标准跑道体育场2个、体育馆2座、图书馆2座（馆藏纸质图书100余万册），以及省级卫视台实景演播厅、虚拟演播厅、融媒体中心等现代化实践场所73个，为学生提供一流的实践教学条件。

Liaoning Communication University was founded in 1991 and升格为 an undergraduate institution with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2014. It is the only independently established undergraduate college of media and art in Northeast China, located in Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning Province. The university has two campuses, South and North, covering an area of 870,000 square meters with a building area of 410,000 square meters, presenting a modern garden-style university with magnificent architecture and a pleasant environment. The university is well-equipped with teaching facilities, including 2 standard 400-meter track stadiums, 2 gymnasiums, 2 libraries (housing over 1 million physical books), and 73 modern practice venues such as provincial-level TV studio, virtual studio, and media convergence center, providing first-class practical teaching conditions for students.

学校实施人才强校战略，现有专任教师635人，其中国务院特殊津贴获得者、省部级专家等高层次人才16人，高级职称教师占比35.1%，硕士学位以上教师占比74.2%。学校设立11个二级学院，开设36个本科专业，面向文化传媒、广播影视、艺术与设计等四大领域，致力于培养具有较高文学艺术素养与信息技术能力的应用型人才。近年来，学生在各类专业竞赛中获奖3626项，包括中国大学生广告艺术节金奖、美国戴维斯电影节最佳影片奖等国内外重要奖项。

The university implements the strategy of strengthening the university with talents, boasting 635 full-time teachers, including 16 high-level talents such as recipients of special government allowances from the State Council and provincial experts. Teachers with senior titles account for 35.1%, and those with master's degrees or above account for 74.2%. The university has 11 secondary colleges offering 36 undergraduate majors, focusing on four major fields: cultural media, radio, film and television, art and design, and is committed to cultivating applied talents with high literary and artistic literacy and information technology capabilities. In recent years, students have won 3626 awards in various professional competitions, including the Gold Award of China College Student Advertising Festival and the Best Film Award at the American Davis Film Festival.

学校积极推进产教融合，与200余家国内外知名企事业单位开展校企合作，是辽宁省文化产业校企联盟理事长单位、辽宁省向应用型转变试点高校。近三年毕业生就业率保持在96%以上，专业对口率超80%，多次被评为辽宁省高校就业创业工作先进单位。学校还获批辽宁省文化和科技融合示范基地、沈阳市文化遗产数字化传承与创新研究中心，师生参与完成沈阳地铁车厢装饰设计、国家反诈动画宣传片等多项社会服务项目，主动服务地方经济文化发展。

The university actively promotes industry-education integration and has carried out school-enterprise cooperation with more than 200 well-known domestic and foreign enterprises and institutions. It is the chairman unit of the Liaoning Provincial Cultural Industry School-Enterprise Alliance and a pilot university for transformation to application-oriented in Liaoning Province. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 96% in the past three years, with a professional counterpart rate exceeding 80%, and it has been repeatedly rated as an advanced unit for employment and entrepreneurship work in Liaoning Province's colleges and universities. The university has also been approved as a Liaoning Provincial Cultural and Technological Integration Demonstration Base and a Shenyang Cultural Heritage Digital Inheritance and Innovation Research Center. Teachers and students have participated in completing many social service projects such as Shenyang subway car decoration design and national anti-fraud animation publicity films, actively serving local economic and cultural development.
