辽宁理工学院位于渤海湾畔辽西走廊、有“英雄城市”之称的历史文化名城锦州市，始建于1999年，是经教育部批准、辽宁省政府主管的民办全日制普通本科高校，以工学为主，涵盖工学、管理学、经济学、文学、法学、教育学、艺术学等七大学科门类，2023年通过教育部本科教学工作合格评估，2024年获批硕士学位授予立项建设单位。

Liaoning Institute of Science and Engineering is located in Jinzhou, a famous historical and cultural city known as the "Hero City" in the Liaoxi Corridor along the Bohai Bay. Founded in 1999, it is a private full-time ordinary undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education and administered by the Liaoning Provincial Government. With engineering as its main focus, the university covers seven disciplines including engineering, management, economics, literature, law, education, and art. It passed the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment of the Ministry of Education in 2023 and was approved as a master's degree-granting project construction unit in 2024.

学校现有松山、滨海两个校区，占地约593.4亩，建筑面积23.55万平方米，设有10个二级学院、36个本科专业和4个专科专业，全日制本专科在校生8487人，专任教师479人，其中高级职称教师190人，双师双能型教师92人。拥有计算机科学与技术、物流工程2个辽宁省一流本科专业建设点，38门省级一流本科课程，7个省级大学生校外实践教育基地，形成以新能源智能汽车、智能制造、信息工程为特色的工科专业群。

The university has two campuses, Songshan and Binhai, covering an area of approximately 593.4 mu with a building area of 235,500 square meters. It has 10 secondary colleges, 36 undergraduate programs, and 4 junior college programs, with 8,487 full-time undergraduate and junior college students and 479 full-time teachers, including 190 with senior professional titles and 92 "double-qualified" teachers. It has 2 Liaoning Provincial First-class Undergraduate Major Construction Sites (Computer Science and Technology, Logistics Engineering), 38 provincial first-class undergraduate courses, and 7 provincial off-campus practice education bases for college students, forming engineering professional clusters featuring new energy intelligent vehicles, intelligent manufacturing, and information engineering.

学校坚持“立足锦州、服务辽宁、面向全国”，深化产教融合，建有9个校企合作产业学院（含1个省级现代产业学院），与欧盟国家12所高校开展国际交流，累计培养各类人才3万余名，毕业生去向落实率连续多年保持93%以上，先后获评辽宁省教育系统先进集体、普通高校就业工作先进集体等荣誉称号。

Adhering to the orientation of "based in Jinzhou, serving Liaoning, and facing the whole country", the university deepens industry-education integration, has established 9 school-enterprise cooperation industrial colleges (including 1 provincial modern industrial college), and carries out international exchanges with 12 universities in EU countries. It has cultivated more than 30,000 talents of various types, with the employment rate of graduates remaining above 93% for many years. It has been successively awarded honorary titles such as Advanced Collective of Liaoning Provincial Education System and Advanced Collective of Employment Work in普通 Colleges and Universities.
