辽宁理工职业大学是教育部批准的辽宁省第一所职业本科大学，位于锦州市滨海新区，依山傍海，风景优美。学校始建于2003年，时名锦州商务职业学院，2010年2月更名为辽宁理工职业学院，2019年12月升格为职业本科院校，2020年6月经教育部批准更名为辽宁理工职业大学。

Liaoning Institute of Technology is the first vocational undergraduate university in Liaoning Province approved by the Ministry of Education, located in Binhai New Area, Jinzhou City, with beautiful scenery surrounded by mountains and the sea. Founded in 2003 as Jinzhou Business Vocational College, it was renamed Liaoning Institute of Technology in February 2010, upgraded to a vocational undergraduate institution in December 2019, and officially renamed Liaoning Institute of Technology with the approval of the Ministry of Education in June 2020.

学校坚持人才强校战略，持续打造“教师、技师、工程师”三师联动，“教育教学能力、工程实践能力、技术开发能力”三能合一的“三师三能型”教师团队。现有专任教师707人，高级职称教师占比39%，具有硕士及以上学位教师占比66%，双师型教师占比54%，企业兼职教师193人。辽宁省教学名师、省专业带头人、省骨干教师34人，锦州高校名师、锦州工匠2人。

The university adheres to the strategy of strengthening the university with talents, continuously building a "three-teacher and three-capability" teacher team featuring the linkage of "teachers, technicians, and engineers" and the integration of "educational teaching ability, engineering practice ability, and technology development ability". There are 707 full-time teachers, with 39% holding senior professional titles, 66% having master's degrees or above, 54% being double-qualified teachers, and 193 part-time teachers from enterprises. There are 34 provincial-level teaching masters, professional leaders, and backbone teachers, as well as 2 Jinzhou university masters and Jinzhou craftsmen.

学校现已形成校园占地1326亩，校舍建筑面积46万平方米（含在建），教学设备值为1.64亿元，图书133万册，校内实训室214个，校园绿化面积50%，现已形成满足1.2万在校生规模的花园式美丽校园。

The university now covers an area of 1,326 mu, with a school building area of 460,000 square meters (including those under construction), teaching equipment worth 164 million yuan, 1.33 million books, 214 on-campus training rooms, and 50% campus greening area, forming a garden-like beautiful campus capable of accommodating 12,000 students.

学校确定非营利性民办学校类型，坚持职业教育属性，明确为社会培养高层次技术技能人才。坚持以落实立德树人为根本任务、以专业能力建设为根基、以发展素质教育为主题，健全德技并修，工学结合的育人机制。

The university is identified as a non-profit private school, adhering to the属性 of vocational education and clearly aiming to cultivate high-level technical and skilled talents for society. It insists on taking moral education as the fundamental task, professional ability construction as the foundation, and quality education development as the theme, improving the education mechanism of integrating moral and technical education with work-study combination.
