鲁迅美术学院是中国东北地区唯一一所多学科门类与多学历层次的高等美术学府，前身是1938年建于延安的鲁迅艺术学院，由毛泽东、周恩来等老一辈无产阶级革命家亲自倡导创建。经过多年发展，学院现已形成覆盖造型、设计、动画、摄影、美术史论等多个领域的学科体系，拥有沈阳和大连两个校区，为国家培养了大批优秀美术人才，在国内外艺术界享有盛誉。

Luxun Academy of Fine Arts is the only higher art institution with multiple disciplines and academic levels in Northeast China. Its predecessor was Luxun Art Academy founded in Yan'an in 1938, initiated by revolutionary predecessors such as Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai. After years of development, the academy has formed a disciplinary system covering plastic arts, design, animation, photography, art history and theory, with two campuses in Shenyang and Dalian. It has cultivated a large number of outstanding art talents for the country and enjoys a high reputation in the domestic and international art circles.

学院坚持以鲁迅精神为办学灵魂，秉承“紧张、严肃、刻苦、虚心”的校训，注重传统与现代结合、理论与实践并重。现有11个教学单位，开设21个本科专业，拥有一级学科博士学位授权点1个、硕士学位授权点3个，形成了“专业基础教学—专业工作室教学—导师工作室教学”三级递进的教学模式，在美术教育、艺术创作和文化传承创新方面发挥着重要作用。

Adhering to Luxun's spirit as the soul of its school-running philosophy and the school motto of "Intense, Serious, Diligent, Modest", the academy emphasizes the integration of tradition and modernity, and the balance between theory and practice. It currently has 11 teaching units offering 21 undergraduate majors, with 1 first-level discipline doctoral program and 3 master's programs. The academy has formed a three-level progressive teaching model of "professional basic teaching—professional studio teaching—tutorial studio teaching", playing an important role in art education, artistic creation, and cultural inheritance and innovation.

学院师资力量雄厚，拥有一支由知名艺术家、设计师和学者组成的教师队伍，其中教授、副教授占比达60%以上。近年来，师生在国内外重大艺术展览和设计竞赛中屡获殊荣，多项作品入选威尼斯双年展、圣保罗双年展等国际顶级艺术展会，为中国美术事业的发展作出了积极贡献。学院还积极开展国际交流与合作，与全球30多个国家和地区的艺术院校建立了友好合作关系，推动中华文化走向世界。

The academy boasts a strong faculty composed of renowned artists, designers and scholars, with professors and associate professors accounting for over 60%. In recent years, teachers and students have won numerous awards in major domestic and international art exhibitions and design competitions, with many works selected for top international art events such as the Venice Biennale and São Paulo Biennale, making positive contributions to the development of Chinese art. The academy also actively conducts international exchanges and cooperation, establishing friendly partnerships with art institutions in more than 30 countries and regions around the world to promote Chinese culture to the world.
