临夏现代职业学院是2015年3月经甘肃省人民政府批准设置、教育部备案、临夏州人民政府举办的普通高等职业院校，其办学历史可追溯至1972年成立的临夏州卫生学校、1981年成立的临夏州民族学校以及1987年成立的临夏州农业学校。学院位于临夏市东城区，校园占地面积541亩，校舍总建筑面积21万平方米，现有教职工501人，专任教师420人，在校学生5300余人。

Linxia Modern Vocational College is a public higher vocational college approved by the People's Government of Gansu Province, registered with the Ministry of Education, and sponsored by the People's Government of Linxia Prefecture in March 2015. Its educational history can be traced back to Linxia Prefecture Health School founded in 1972, Linxia Prefecture Ethnic School founded in 1981, and Linxia Prefecture Agricultural School founded in 1987. Located in the East Urban District of Linxia City, the college covers an area of 541 mu with a total building area of 210,000 square meters. It currently has 501 faculty members, 420 full-time teachers, and more than 5,300 students.

学院下设14个教学单位，开设学前教育、护理、口腔医学技术、应用阿拉伯语、汽车检测与维修技术等29个高职专业，构建了涵盖教育、卫生健康、工程技术、经济管理等多领域的专业体系。学院注重实践教学，建成实训中心8个、实验实训室173个，实验实训开出率达95%以上，并与马来西亚、伊朗等国高校开展国际交流合作，践行“厚德博学、强技砺能”的校训，致力于培养高素质技术技能人才。

The college has 14 teaching units and offers 29 higher vocational majors including Preschool Education, Nursing, Stomatology Technology, Applied Arabic, and Automobile Inspection and Maintenance Technology, forming a professional system covering education, health care, engineering technology, economic management and other fields. Focusing on practical teaching, the college has built 8 training centers and 173 experimental training rooms with an experimental training开出率 of over 95%. It also conducts international exchanges and cooperation with universities in Malaysia, Iran and other countries.
