兰州博文科技学院（原兰州交通大学博文学院）2002年由兰州交通大学申办成立，2004年被教育部确认为独立学院，属全日制普通本科高等学校，2021年经教育部批准转设为独立设置的本科层次民办普通高等学校，并更名为兰州博文科技学院。学校面向全国招生，招生纳入国家普通高等教育统招计划。学生学习期满成绩合格者，颁发兰州博文科技学院毕业证书，符合学士学位授予条件者，颁发兰州博文科技学院学士学位证书。

Lanzhou Bowen College of Science and Technology (formerly Bowen College of Lanzhou Jiaotong University) was founded in 2002 by Lanzhou Jiaotong University. In 2004, it was recognized as an independent college by the Ministry of Education, being a full-time ordinary undergraduate institution. In 2021, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was transformed into an independently established private ordinary undergraduate college and renamed Lanzhou Bowen College of Science and Technology. The college enrolls students nationwide, with its enrollment incorporated into the national unified enrollment plan for ordinary higher education. Upon successful completion of their studies, students are awarded a graduation certificate from Lanzhou Bowen College of Science and Technology, and those meeting the bachelor's degree requirements are granted a bachelor's degree certificate from the college.

学校秉承兰州交通大学严谨治学的优良办学传统，遵循“博衍明德，文倡格物”的校训，全面贯彻党的教育方针，坚持社会主义办学方向，坚持立德树人，以培养质量为核心，以市场需求为导向，培养学生综合素质，提高学生的创新创业和实践能力。学校占地面积1725.3亩，其中和平校区532.3亩，兰州新区校区1193亩（规划建设中）。目前在校全日制学生1.7万余人，现有教职工862人，专任教师764人，其中副高以上职称人员308人，硕士研究生及以上学历人员431人。共开设44个专业，形成以工科为主，文、理、经、管、艺多学科协调发展的专业结构体系，就业率始终稳定在96%以上。

The college inherits the fine educational tradition of rigorous scholarship from Lanzhou Jiaotong University and follows the school motto of "Broadening Virtue, Advocating Knowledge through Learning". It fully implements the Party's educational policy, adheres to the socialist orientation in running schools, and persists in fostering virtue through education. With talent cultivation quality as the core and market demand as the orientation, the college aims to enhance students' comprehensive quality and improve their innovation, entrepreneurship, and practical abilities. The college covers an area of 1,725.3 mu, including 532.3 mu for the Heping Campus and 1,193 mu for the Lanzhou New Area Campus (under planning and construction). Currently, there are over 17,000 full-time students and 862 faculty members, including 764 full-time teachers, among whom 308 have associate senior titles or above, and 431 hold master's degrees or higher. The college offers 44 majors, forming a disciplinary structure with engineering as the main focus, coordinated by arts, sciences, economics, management, and arts. The employment rate has remained stable at over 96%.
