兰州科技职业学院是甘肃省人民政府批准、教育部备案、纳入国家普通高校统一招生计划，独立颁发学历证书的全日制普通高等职业院校。学院创建于1996年，前身为甘肃省国防中等专业学校，2013年升格为高等学历教育院校，2014年纳入国家普通高考招生计划。学院位于兰州市定远镇东部科技新城园区大道1号，占地面积230亩，建筑面积8万多平方米，设有4个教学单位，开设护理、工业机器人技术、口腔医学技术等15个专业，在校生1800余人。

Lanzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology is a full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the Gansu Provincial People's Government, filed by the Ministry of Education, included in the national unified enrollment plan for ordinary colleges, and independently issuing academic certificates. Founded in 1996, the college was formerly known as Gansu National Defense Secondary Professional School. It was upgraded to a higher education institution in 2013 and included in the national college entrance examination enrollment plan in 2014. Located at No. 1 Park Avenue, Eastern Science and Technology New City, Dingyuan Town, Lanzhou, the college covers an area of 230 mu with a building area of over 80,000 square meters. It has 4 teaching units, offering 15 majors including Nursing, Industrial Robot Technology, and Stomatology Technology, with more than 1,800 students.

学院以培养高素质技术技能人才为目标，深化产教融合，建成省内高职院校首个高新技术综合实训基地，涵盖生命科学、工业机器人、新能源汽车等多个领域。其中人体生命科学馆是甘肃省馆藏标本最多的医学实训中心，工业机器人技术实训中心由中国航天科技集团承建，为西北地区规模较大的机器人实训基地。学院图书馆藏纸质图书11.1万册，教职工145人，双师素质教师占比35%，核心课程由兰州大学、甘肃中医药大学等高校教授及行业专家授课。

With the goal of cultivating high-quality technical and skilled talents, the college deepens the integration of industry and education, and has built the first comprehensive training base for high-tech in vocational colleges in Gansu Province, covering life sciences, industrial robots, new energy vehicles and other fields. Among them, the Human Life Science Museum is the medical training center with the largest collection of specimens in Gansu Province, and the Industrial Robot Technology Training Center, built by China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, is a large-scale robot training base in northwest China. The college library has 111,000 paper books, 145 faculty members, with 35% of "double-qualified" teachers. Core courses are taught by professors from Lanzhou University, Gansu University of Chinese Medicine and other universities as well as industry experts.
